I know it's a grass is always greener bullshit take, but as a code monkey for a tech megacorp... That sounds like heaven on Earth to me. Maybe not 24/7 Nullovision as I'd probably listen to 40k audiobooks, but the solitude, being outside, driving a giant combine and smelling the wheat and petting a horse or cow.
its def easy money, the owners are really nice too, but your in that seat for 10-12 hours straight, also working with highschool zoomers who dont understand the radio coms in the combines arent private. its definitely fun, no cows or horses sadly though. when the jobs done its done, if you dont have a fulltime job there your probably not gonna work until next harvest.

Your megacorp is right now paying monkeys to code combines to drive themselves without human attention, which will be adopted because it’s slightly cheaper but will hand more control to the corp.

Most of the guys I know who run combines on their farms kind of expect them to be self-driving sooner rather than later. Kind of sad.

It's a bit harder than that, man. And if it's not a new vehicle the ride quality sucks (like actually fucks your back up). And if you don't own it, the pay is dogshit. Stay in the city please.

been doing it for 2 years now and i can agree to it not being super pleasant but ive yet to have any back issues, which is rare when im as tall as i am, most things ive done working wise always wound up making my lower back stiff, but combine? its not bad

I am planning to leave the city tbh. That's 75% of the reason it sounds so appealing. We aren't meant to live like we do in a city, it's soul crushing. No community while surrounded by millions, filthy, dangerous, outrageous cost of living etc etc you know the drill.

Serious talk. Becoming part of a community is hard work. Probably got 500 move ins to my home county since the beginning of Covid and I know three people who actually integrated. A couple from Minnesota moved out as political refugees (the wife was big in the Republican Women's club or whatever it's called and got tired of her own party being shit) and they basically had to remodel the VFW club (local watering hole in addition to being a veteran's club) to get some semblance of trust.
The other is a bartender who, by virtue of being an ex-stripper with big (fake) titties gets a bit of a pass in addition to being around the town drunks every night (who happen to be the local small business owners too).
It takes some doing getting to be trusted, especially now that everything's going a little nuts.

RUN NULL RUN

Is that face value, sophisticated satire or AI deep fake, not knowing destiny I have no frame of reference. And no Null to explain it and gutterally laugh about it.
its real, context is that destiny debated candace owens on stream and a few days later she stopped working with the Daily Wire.
some retard in chat implied that destiny was seething so hard about getting owned by her that he used his jew connections (because people call him a grifter for being pro-israel) to get DW to drop her

In the absence of new content I started watching(listening actually as I'm driving) old streams, starting with what may be the first one considered MATI, Oct 10th 2018, World Mental Health Day. And as expected my mental health declined.

But the funny part is who should appear but our old friend Russell Greer. He may be the only cow in the stream that I recognized, only being here since whenever.

The other funny part is it's the same as today, Josh not knowing how computers work, muting streams, cursing as media doesn't load, etc.

It's so erver.

Still no stream? Damn. Get well soon Null. Take it easy.

Can’t believe my post about rural areas received disagreement. It’s funny because two weeks ago the guy who did those Uncuck The Right Disney parody songs from 2015/16 posted about exactly the same thing. But I’m sure he just wasn’t based enough.
I think he comes across as whiny. It isn’t what I’d criticize. But it also gets to the central issue, which is that you need a certain temperament to enjoy rural living. And someone who politically identifies with rural areas from afar will not be like that.

It’s painfully obvious that people here have extremely callow political instincts. In this case rural areas have to be good and based because they’re culturally coded as “right wing”. Well, at the risk of blowing your mind, right wing is not a synonym for ‘good thing’. Self-identifying as a Based Right Winger doesn’t liberate you from having an intelligent point of view. Some seem confused by this.
I couldn't vote because it was during my tomboy timeout; now stickers have no value, so I just randomly post pretty green moons for fun.
I gave this an "i" for informative even though I think that linked writer seems like a sellout who never knew what he was getting into in the first place; he's right about a lot of things, but the fact that those are the things that matter to him is self evident even without his opening statement of not finding Whites his in-group. Wings aint got shit to do with it imho.
