Actually a legitimately interesting observation that I'm surprised I never made the connection to. I can't tell you how many times I've been looking into an old jrpg I enjoy, only to find the story was gutted in the english localization, not for censorship, but because dialogue-heavy rpgs tend to tax cartridge memory already, and japanese text can simply say far more with less characters.

Yup. This is the reason almost every speedrunner plays on the Japanese version of the game. The Japanese version needs a lot fewer characters to convey the same info which usually translates to a few frames saved.

I think it’s been established that no body knows what the fuck josh was doing during some of his early years, but it definitely wasn’t being exposed to all the same shit good or bad that seemingly the rest of got in the early 2000s. It’s weird because there’s like gaps to what he’s aware of and what hes never seen before. Like the nigger just spent random segments of each week in stasis for years or something.

It always amazes me how people go out of their way to talk like a retard. It was one thing when we were all on keyboards, but every smartphone comes with autocorrect installed by default. It's actually really really hard to intentionally not capitalize the first letter in a sentence with autocorrect enabled. It's incredible, they can literally have the tools coded in to act like white people, and they'll still throw them back in your face and go back to ooking and eeking and flinging their shit wildly.

No, actually it's the opposite. Japanese has a significantly lower information-per-syllable transfer rate than English, hence why it's spoken faster. Japanese people have this weird complex about their language being the mostaru superiar ranguage which is probably where that misconception comes from.
