There is also a federal law called the Visual Artists Rights Act. A publisher is not allowed to alter the product of an artist. It's actually a really powerful and crazy law and it's insane it got passed. The Korean studio could sue Sony in the US for violating this law, if Sony patched their artwork without their consent. If they compelled the studio to release the patch, I'm not sure.

I suspect a lot of the overarching themes will stay in their worldviews but they’ll denounce Tate himself. Grummz is a faggot who doesn't actually care about that thing at all, he just wants the attention. The last game he actually managed to get somewhat released he sold to a Chinese company, who kicked him out, made the game good for a while, then shut it down because it still didn't catch on. His latest project has been in development for ages, has changed premise and scope several times with nothing to show for it last time I checked and I'd bet money on it never getting remotely finished or even shat out into early access.

Same shit as Chris Roberts and Richard Garriott who have been grifting money on the premise of hey these guys used to make things you liked twenty years ago.
