I didn't know this thread was here or I would have posted my thoughts on Josh's rant on Stellar Blade here instead of the SB thread.

It's hard to take his statements at face value when it also comes with all the same holes in the argument that pro-censorship people tend to have. Someone says they don't care, but then go on a long rant about how akshually 'it's not censorship and you can just look at nekkit girls online'. At that point, you're taking a side in the argument and you're also missing the big picture of why people take such a rabid stance against even mild censorship. Then he acts surprised at the response.

It’s funny because I agree with a lot of the anti-Stellar Blade censorship campaign’s points but you people are such faggots about it that Sony could put the Korean bitch in a burqa and I’d laugh my ass off at you autistic retards. The dozens of people having a fucking mental breakdown across the site, my listening audience, and social media literally disgusts me. The fact that I personally don't care that Sony modified their own fucking product so that a costume showed less cleavage is a great offense to them. I HAVE to care about this, otherwise my decade of work strugglging against top-down censorship from banks, infrastructure, and governments is moot.

It's just vomit inducing. Maybe people are cattle that should be owned. What is the point of trying?

Gamers are nigger cattle. Every time there is an outrage, they'll screech for two weeks, then completely forget about it and will continue to consoom. Just ignore them and don't respond to them, it all dies down on it's own.

On the topic of how a lawsuit would be the best option, I’m surprised something I’ve not seen brought up is the fact that one of the few GamerGate success stories (that GamerGate wasn’t even responsible for) was Gawker going under after being successfully sued by Hulk Hogan for invasion of privacy. You’d think this would have sent a message to the GamerGate crowd but evidently they were too busy grifting and arguing about the ethics of loli to take note.
