Cetane rating has nothing to do with the compression needed to spontaneously combust which is the whole reason you would use an anti-knocking agent, to raise the compression needed so that the air/fuel mixture doesn't spontaneously combust before it is supposed to in the engine cycle. Combusting early in the cycle is what an "engine knock" is as the force of the expansion doesn't actuate the piston correctly as the piston is not yet in position to turn the crankshaft

The problem was that pigs were used in Cairo's trash collection services because the pigs would eat all of the rotten organic trash. This was a valid shitposting IMO, since knock in a diesel engine is an unavoidable and accepted characteristic in certain conditions (like after cold start), and it is built to handle the high compression anyway. There is no such thing as an anti-knocking additive for diesel, unlike gasoline.

The crack may perform a useful function for injector cleaning though.

This was a valid shitposting IMO, since knock in a diesel engine is an unavoidable and accepted characteristic in certain conditions (like after cold start), and it is built to handle the high compression anyway. There is no such thing as an anti-knocking agent for diesel, unlike gasoline.

The meth may perform a useful function for injector cleaning though.

An anti-knocking agent is just a fuel additive to raise octane rating. There is nothing preventing you from adding it to diesel, its just that a diesel engine relies on that compression for the air/fuel mixture to combust so raising the octane rating too much will prevent that process from happening. With a gasoline ICE though you are using a spark plug to ignite the air/fuel mixture so you don't want it to combust from the compression as that would mean that it is combusting before the spark plug can ignite the mixture at the correct timing. Higher end gasoline ICE are running with more pressure in the cylinders so you need to use higher octane fuels (sold as "premium" so that sports car guys feel like they are cool for spending more on fuel) to avoid the knocking you would get from lower octane fuels.
