Rate this gay or whatever, but I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry about what was done to you. People who think this isn’t a big deal don’t understand that it’s not ‘just’ being banned off twitter. Josh has been systematically silenced by every social media website and trying to be silenced by the very foundation of the Internet in a way which I don’t think anyone else ever has been. Even pedos, drug dealers, and animal torturers are treated with more respect. It’s not ‘just’ twitter. It’s twitter and the goliath of censorship Josh has had pushing down on his mind for years. Totally understandable this would hit you hard and you’d need some time to collect yourself.

I think a lot of us here have experienced what it’s like to be outcasts, to be silenced in one way or another for over some injustice. While not as bad as Josh has been censored, I think a lot of us can sympathize with the feeling of utter betrayal.

Just remember Josh, you are an asshole but you aren’t a bad guy. You don’t deserve what’s happening to you. When you get silenced, it does not prove your wickedness. It proves the depths of depravity for those who are silencing you. They don’t realize it yet, but they hurt themselves when they silence you. You have a right to speak and be heard. You are a human, and not meant to live as a slave to those in power. I know that's not much consolation for where you are right now, but I think you need to hear it none-the-less. You didn't ask for my advice but I'll give it anyways, take some time off the internet. A few hours, a few days. Whatever. This is a marathon, not a race. Take care of yourself.

You're not wrong, and there are deep problems with our society, but realistically if there even is a way to "fix" this shit now, it'll be something along the lines of what you Americans call fedposting, so I'll stop now. I think you get the message.

Consider that in Poland we have no boomers. Yet the same ailments that eat up the US are slowly but surely popping up here. It's not that the boomers aren't a cancer, it's just that the problem is more deeply rooted
