"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Kiwi Farms homepage is #2 on Google now, I noticed last week.

The stream was very quiet when there were issues connecting to Rumble, but after Null replaced the cable it was a lot better. Could some of the complaining after it was fixed been due to the significant delay in chat? I sent a message several minutes before he hid chat and I didn't see it appear on screen.

I typically download the VOD from rumble right after the stream on Tuesdays and I have VLC fairly high ~125% to keep it listenable in the car. If I get bored I may pull it over to see how the levels actually look, might be a me problem.

Reactions: Let's find Crack
On Monday, the Supreme Court announced that it would hear a challenge to Tennessee’s ban on youth gender medicine, which makes it a felony for doctors to provide any gender-related treatment to minors, including puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries. The petition, filed by the Department of Justice, cited the WPATH guidelines among its primary “evidence-based practice guidelines for the treatment of gender dysphoria.”
@Null I think you will find this interesting. The other information below is something I and others noticed a while ago.
The Department of Justice is citing WPATH's Standards of Care 8, a document that hosts a direct link on page 90 to the Eunuch Archive, an extremist sadomasochist castration fetish website which hosts thousands of user submitted childrape erotica stories. The President of WPATH knows what site that link leads to and yet still refuses to remove it.

The volume was better before the cable replacement while listening directly on rumble, no headphones. It was lower post cable. I think it sounds lower due to rumble sometimes as the same thing happens to other streamers I listen to on that platform. Rumble has some issues. Could be a mix of things.

Doing a sound check could help, with a few listeners who are there just to give feedback for a couple minutes, maybe an hour or so before showtime. Chat was being annoying & attention grabbing, I was in chat saying it was fine level wise, compared to normal, but 90% of chat had to meme instead of give honest feedback, over & over. Time & place, time & place faggots. Newfag is a state of mind, newfag mindsets. Your not as funny as you think & you’re attention seeking is retarded. Usually chat is fun, but it was extra obnoxious at that moment in time.

:diddler: NewfagMindet? More like Newfag Dicksucker.

This would always be in your vision and reminds you to be the right distance from the mic and will immediately be obvious if you’re muted or what you’re trying to play isn’t faded up.
This only works if it is connected to the output of the stream, preferably a second laptop that is signed into odysneed (but then it would be delayed).

Half the muting is done in software anyway, and there's probably five or six points it could be muted at.

Throwing my two cents into the volume ring my volume was good, and i was pissed that the chat went full nigger mode. Now what audio devices was i using:
20 dollar sony headphones. And on my phone i have 10 dollar skullcandy earbuds. Also the speakers in my old ass chevy malibu that get bounced off a bluetooth adapter and onto the raido, so two levels of interference before it comes out of the cans. There was no peaking or drops. Just stuttering from Josh's internet, which isn't a sound issue. If i can hear it fine with this cheap shit, i know the autists in this thread with 100+ dollar sound set ups CAN.

I was assuming OBS can send a “monitor” of the mixed stream to a dedicated output channel on the sound card . It would have to be set up to match the real encoded level of course.

Sure, it doesn’t stop you doing it, it just means you’ll notice and fix it faster.

A cheap audio path will always do that. Less bandwidth. basically the same as using a compressor.

Final comment: this retard has good suggestions regarding mic use, which might be the problem.

Is this another indicator of being an NPC? Like with the whole "can't visualize an apple" and "doesn't have an inner monologue" thing? Do we need to add "can't understand the difference between good audio and bad audio" to the mix? I swear to God, every time a streamer has audio issues, there's always a contingent of retards screaming as loud as they can in chat "NOOOO STALKER CHILDREN, THE AUDIO IS FINE, JUST TURN IT UP ;)."

Null needs a guy he trusts implicitly to give him feedback on audio before/during the streams.

Audio was a bit low, probably 8-10dB. This was via Kick under Brave, desktop system with decent Bluetooth headphones.

I had to increase system volume to near max, headphones somewhere in the middle. I had been using them all day to listen to podcasts and music as I worked, with only minor adjustments, but had to crank the volume for MATI. Your vocal levels were noticeably, though not terribly, off from other audio in the stream.

Monitoring the output of Rumble/Kick as well as OBS at the start of the stream is probably not a bad idea. Then you can just hope they don't do any auto-levelling fuckery and rely on your OBS levels during the stream.

BTW how about incorporating the site chyatt? I am now using Odysee for chyat, Kick/Rumble for the stream and occasionally have the site chat up too. Site chyaTt probably too wild for archivists though.

Ok I did a comparison of the same clip across all 4 websites Josh was streaming to.
I picked a 10 second clip of Josh talking about RubenSim where he starts with; "He was in a motorcycle crash".
I made sure the video player on the website was on full volume.
The timestamp for the clip is different on every site because of the boofering.

People saying "durr I heard it fine" are fucking retarded because the point is not that you can't hear anything, the point is that the audio is much quieter than previous streams and way below the standard volume level of a podcast, and if you're doing something else while listening like playing a game you have to turn your volume way up and the game way down. And no, the audio levels did not improve after the stream restarted.

For some reason the Odysee VOD is the only one where the audio levels are good so unless the VOD's audio was edited and the levels raised it's an issue with the re-streaming software/service.
If you record a bit of Josh talking in an earlier stream like the June 4th Rainbow Road stream, the audio waveform is consistently about twice as large and you can clearly hear the difference if compared to the last stream.

Listening back to the other streams from earlier this month, they also are quieter than usual. It seems that the average volume dropped by around 6db starting with the June 14th stream with Mint Salad in the title.

I don't know your set up Null so I don't know how to start troubleshooting this but please stop listening to retards saying there's nothing wrong because they can hear any audio at all. If you want to try and fix this just put some clips from the last stream in an audio editing software of your choice to see that they are indeed quiet and do some trial and error recordings with OBS. You should aim to have the audio levels be like the Odysee VOD. If the OBS levels are good like you said they were on stream, then the levels for some reason get decreased after you send the live feed to the streaming websites.

Now do 'nick rekieta'

Then do 'liz fong jones'.

An acquaintance has an X account about LFJ in Google's top 10 results with minimal content.

Yet, KF is MIA. Karma is a bitch.
I am very God fearing and believe in karma so I pay close attention to the motive behind my actions and try not to be spiteful.

The truth always has a way of coming out in the end, as the Lord intended. If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about.

Luke 12:2 -3 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

Except most people aren’t saying that ITT that I can see. They are saying it sounded like it usually has the past few months. Not that the usual has been amazing, It’s been low, especially on kick & rumble, which I’ve seen repeated over & over in here.

The point is that it wasn’t all of sudden way different, like live chat was claiming. I see most people saying that sound checks could help and that it’s been lower lately and this last stream wasn’t some big out of the norm, it was similar to how it’s been since after Null took a streaming break & then started up again. I don’t think it’s an audience fault thing either. There is agreement that it definitely could use troubleshooting.

You see this? Crank it up. Crank the volume to 11. Your ears won't die. He probably moved out of the closet and it fucked the audio since he isn't in a Japanese torture hotbox ala Bridge on the River Kwai. And honestly, i haven't had to crank it to 11. It's sounded exactly the same. Which is regular youtuber level, which means its above a blue Yeti mic but it's not a radio show with a full analog setup. Audio is fine Ivan.
