Have you ever looked at the application process to get a federal job? I'm serious. The thing is a labyrinth. I'm not talking state, i'm talking federal. If you need a security clearance for ANYTHING, literally anything at all, you will have to give them 10 years of info. Including social media history. That is most federal jobs because of documents. I doubt most of them want anything to do with the farms.
This is not really accurate. The vast majority of federal jobs, direct employment and contract work, do not require security clearances. Of those that do the overwhelming majority of these clearances are Secret Clearance, which the government adjudicates rather quickly. The questions asked are very standard, and are focused on personal relationships and references, much like a regular job interview. There is a basic financial worksheet where you disclose assets and the history of your financial health (i.e. if you have an unhealthy debt to income ratio or have ever declared bankruptcy). Yes, one is asked about social media, however the questions focus specifically on if you have a history of posts that declare disloyalty to the nation (you are allowed to disagree with government policies, government officials, and yes even support of Israel). The references you list will receive a call from from the agency handling your clearance, and this is in order to vet the information you disclosed is true (work history, court history, real life stuff) and to get character statements.
For this level of clearance you would have to be a monumental retard to get denied, like a real dipshit. As long as you don't link your Kiwi Farms account directly in your public social media accounts that you disclose no one would even know that you have been on the site.
Obviously, higher level clearances will result in greater scrutiny of your history, but it is more of the same from above. Keep in mind that tens of thousands of teenagers are screened and deemed Top Secret Eligible every year when enlisting the military for the MOS's that require that clearance, and these are kids that are part of the generation responsible for the shit on Tik Tok. Higher levels of Compartmentalized TS, you submit to polygraphs and other in person reviews, but that is aside from the point.
Getting a federal job is not a labyrinthitis process, it is just like any other job out there. Getting a clearance is not hard if you need one (most likely you would not be considered for the job if you could not pass the background check for the clearance). Last, the only way anyone would know you shitpost on the Farms is if you tell them for whatever reason (and it is only in an exceptional few cases anyone would care).
I mean how well do you think you could hide it. Likely yes. Unless you want them to find it NSA style during the background check. Then you really aren't getting the job.
See above. The reason I'm going on this diatribe is that this line of thinking only adds to the general stigma of the site, especially when combined with a profound misunderstanding of how background checks in general are adjudicated for these jobs.
