"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

If you Google this question you will literally get multiple high ranking answers from fucking credit bureaus like Experian saying to never publish your bank account number.

But I don't think this is fucking true. I'm pretty fucking sure that companies with lots of money give their information out all the time and never get magically defrauded by people just asking for infinite money, pretty please.

I'm pretty sure the "NEVER!!! Share your bank details" is a fucking credit card myth to force people onto money apps like Venmo

Prove me wrong

It's has to do with the nature of the automated clearing house or ach. The transaction s are run on batches and it takes days for shit to clear.

You can also buy checks from a check printing company so if you have the routing and account number you can do fraud.

I ve had it happen with my old job some gets a deposit back and uses the info on the check to do fraud

Tldr our system is old and won't be modernized because services like zelle and cashapp make money

Before apps it was fucking wire services like western union or paying the bank for a direct transfer.

They also have teams of very autistic people balancing every transaction to the nearest cent. The insider threat is the biggest risk to a corporation.

Venmo is part of the centralization scheme where banks corpos and governments collude. "Never give your bank details" is to ensure people dont steal from you. Its like saying I got a warehouse full of cash at X. Your bank is probably legally obligated to conduct transactions with anybody who has your credentials and personal details. Corpos dont do this cause their business is mostly public transactions and even if they get fucked, they know theyll get bailed by tax payer money. Venmo and digital currency is just tech people fucking with money on behalf of the government. It has nothing to do with a persons life savings. The only solution to this is probably inflation proofing your money through Gold and shit or taking all of your savings and keeping it in a den of vaults at home.
It's pretty funny how unreliable and how vulnerable the infrastructure is (especially the internet) considering the tensions in the West... and they still decide to make it more intertwined to technology. They removed cash for a simple card, and now you need a newly updated phone to just pay for a bus ticket.

Can't wait for this shit to backfire.

after DKF I did not release almost anything for like 2 years and now i've gone at least a month doing each weekend
What sort of stuff is on there? it's a downside of Gumroad that it doesn't show recent content releases like Patreon does. Do you use it for more serious stuff, or more fun stuff? I haven't paypigged anything since Common Filth's Bandcamp but I'm tempted by MATI,

I recently discovered a YouTube channel “No Text To Speech”, and he is essentially the Reuben Sim of Discord. He does an amazing job of highlighting how many child predator servers there are on discord, the tools and external sites predators and gooners use to find each other, and how discord ineptly moderates its own platform at the detriment of vulnerable minors.

These are a few examples but he has an insane amount of content just like this. Highly recommended channel if you haven’t seen before.

They had to, otherwise how would they get their kicks? Many people knew IOT was a disaster back in 2015 but silicon valley went ahead with it anyways.

I basically pick a topic at complete random and talk about it for an hour. If it's a media review it's much shorter but takes much longer to make. It's very casual and unserious and it's mostly just fucking around.

Wasn't this the guy that was angry at the spy.pet thing because it was ratting out discord pedophiles or am I thinking of someone else?

Here's my mati thought of the night that I have woken up angry about.

My entire life I was told that it is bad security to share bank details with people you don't trust because fraudulent transactions can be initiated with just the number.

Businesses have ACH remittance sheets (literally just word docs/pdfs) to facilitate payments for goods or services rendered that they have no issue handing out to customers.

In my personal experience I have NEVER seen someone try to use ACH remittance info to fraudulently pull money out of our account, but I have had people steal checks we've mailed out and paste their name and address onto them and try to mobile deposit them.

The most common fraud I've seen is people sending out fraudulent ACH remittance forms in an effort to get you to change the information in your system to their routing and account numbers. This fraud is easily avoided by 1. only using ACH info you've specifically asked for and 2. calling vendors and confirming their banking info has actually updated to what's shown on the form.

It's also piss poor easy to track who's doing the fraud which just goes to show most criminals are fucking retarded or pajeets who wouldn't get prosecuted and are specifically targeting stupid people.

The guy did the whole spiel about how Kiwi farms are bad, blah blah blah. When he mentioned the BoyKisser thread, he brushed it off to his fans as some terrible, no-good, very bad thing. (Essentially; you shouldn't look at the thread archiving and discussing pedos using the Boy Kisser "meme" to groom children because... the KIWIFARMS made it, okay?)
he also painted spy.pet as some hackerman, for... archiving publicly available discord information via a bot.

NTTS is an uberniggerfaggot and he isn't stupid, considering the sharty's attempt to dox him never really went anywhere beyond vague connections that lacked substance, as far as I know. It wouldn't surprise me if he made that video on Spy.pet to cover his tracks.
