"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

I just download from the website and watch them in VLC.
No idea if iOS has the same as Android VLC, but Android has a "Listen as music" which makes it ignore the screen turning off.
Ah, that works.
Im on Android, I was just mentally stuck on finding a solution in the app.
The website works for downloading.

Dear Leader,

I know you are a very based anti-advertisement gigga chad who is both handsome and smart, however;

I think it would be a good idea to promote & link the MATI podcast right on the main page in giant flashing letters when it goes live. I mean, you got a website full of people posting about (random shit or whatever) and guests, why not make it baby-ass easy to find the podcast (and potentially send super chyats)? I think you may underestimate the number of people who are lazing about the site who might show up if you use the site to promote yourself a bit more. Personally, I am often browsing the site and then forget what day or time it is and don't show up to MATI.

Maybe this is just me, but I get the sense that you have this main-character attitude where you're like "well I told people where to go for the podcast 3 years ago in a post somewhere that they can use the search function to find, so why would I have to remind people every single time?" Brotha, you gotta lure in new people to grow and new people are 100% clueless. Old people are living their lives and forget and then don't think about it. You have the site. Cross promotion!

I strongly suspect there are a bunch of people who visit this site every day, have boomer money, and would be shook from their apathy and become fans of MATI only after seeing an obnoxious banner notification 10 weeks in a row.

And inversely, I also think there's no harm in doing a short This is where Kiwi Farms is and this is why going there is cool segment on the MATI show would be a good idea for the same reason. Normies have definitely stumbled onto the podcast and become fans, but did you remember to spoon-feed them your other product?

Anyway, I've been thinking about this for a while, nervously seeing if anyone else would say something first so I could just updoot their post. So there it is.

@Hax1337

You asked yesterday if there was an alternative to catbox and I couldn't think of it offhand.
It's Streamable

"I have alibi and piss tests."

Imagine that fist-swinging declaration of innocence translated into Latin, scrolled as a family motto above a coat of arms - a magenta shield displaying a quintet of baldoes in saltire.

I have some fascinating trivia regarding the Sten gun, which as everyone knows was invented by the British, specifically by Brian Sten from Lower Stenbury, Stenshire, who named the weapon after his great aunt Stenda.

The unique 'gappy' rifling of the Sten gun was inspired by the chaotic jawline of Sten's eldest daughter, Stennifer, whose teeth were said to resemble a graveyard that had recently been on the business end of an earthquake.

An unloaded Sten gun, when stood upright on its butt (or 'arse') will comfortably hold a pint of English Breakfast Tea. It is regarded as poor etiquette to drink tea from a Sten gun after the hour of ten o'clock in the morning. God save the King!

The preferred lubricant for the Sten gun is the jelly from jellied eels. Falconer's Miracle Gun Paste, which can be purchased from Fortnum & Mason, is an acceptable substitute.

The characteristic 'pip pip' report of the Sten gun was based on 1920s British slang for "goodbye".

Building off this, while the bank shit is always a issue, the forum itself can be used as a advertising tool for Josh's ventures. It really just depends on how its done. Maybe once a week try promoting a random thread of the site to engage with guest traffic. Feature the (non existent) Model Train thread, show how cool and varied the site is, and how it isn't JUST the "Nazi stalking website" everyone makes it out to be, then talk about it on MATI for a minute, and then link the MATI stream in that thread. Then you'll start having a feedback loop of new people from the Farms going to your stream (where they can donate) and people from the stream going to a cool new thread to check out. Marketing wise, it gets you more money and hopefully gets you new viewers since you'd be showing off lesser known parts of the website.

Do other people have a lot of trouble with the gumroad app on their phone?
I try listening while doing things, but when I close my phone's screen the video stops after a few seconds. And having the screen on means my pocket fabric starts giving random input and eventually fucks something up.

I tried downloading the vids, but I cant find them on my phone after it says theyre downloaded, and vids it claims to have downloaded are no better than the others for listenability.
I couldn't find them either, but if you download VLC, open the download in VLC you can watch/use as a background player

Edit mark me late @davids877 beat me

I had this problem with all of my video/audio streaming apps. I fixed it by unrestricting the battery usage for the apps. (Android btw, but I think Apple does something similar.)

If Null puts a shortcut to his stream, I expect him to eat burgers off floor while making incoherent sounds, like the other guy.

Yo @Null if you are serious about getting into the milquetoast right wing grift-o-sphere the podcast that DSP mentioned on Kino "Side Scrollers" has a vendetta with Mercante and already covered the lolsuit letter. You would be an easy in guest, it's a very safe-right show with wahmens and shit and it would open doors to that entire realm (all the vidya guys, all the film critics...). I'm not even saying this as a fan BTW, the show isn't amazing or anything... but it's a daily show and they churn and burn through dozens of guests. They must be connected AF and strategically it's a very solid move. The only drawback is that you have to give attention to Mercante. ... and I just wouldn't go full spicy on there, keep it YT safe.

I would also check out ItsAGundam, he is some sort of black-xican from NYC or something but he has a very self deprecating sense of humor and is a DSP Detractor/Cobes Appreciator. He just started his podcast (usually does videos) and you might be able to swing it... He will be stoned and late tho.

Also on the more serious end of things Academic Agent is pretty smart, he's an Iranian Brit professor but is totally our guy. You would find common ground on Churchill/FDR and he runs a show called Cigar Stream that just does current events.

I also think the Sargon's Capos are alright, Arch is a rosy cheeked baby faced dweeb and Vee is a recovering furfag but they both have pretty solid takes and are good for pop-culture or politics.
I get no views, but if he wants on to my Warhammer D&D stream, I will let him play as a special character for a special one session scenario. He would need to have Tabletop Simulator installed though.

I haven't laughed this hard since the Salsa-kin post of 2023, when that millionaire tourist sub sank and killed 5 or 6 retards. I'm 99% sure ye are he.

According to the keno kaisno chat, there is child porn in the Bossman discord, please watch out.

Just to clarify for the dumb Redditors and Ratcord retards: posted by other people, not by Austin, and Austin's sweeping it up.
Some pedophile rats started posting CP in bossman’s discord

Since you mentioned on your stream that you need to start making money:
Just as LFJ has made a "reputation management company, you could make a "reputation destruction company."
Host a crowd-sourced service where people pay to have dirt on their enemies dug up on them, then distribute a small share of the bounty to any kiwis who participate (or not, if you want to be a greedy bastard.)

DarksydePhil learned today that he is apparently going to be sued by a detractor named Suprcrzy and responded to the legal threats live on stream. I've clipped out the pertinent moments herein, in chronological order:
