"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

@Null I need to know why an IT teacher expelled you as you mentioned in the last MATI episode
He ended up mentioning it in superchats, a different teacher had died a day before he used some computer feature he wasn't supposed to in order to message everyone some note saying he hated the school. Teacher's not having a nice time, since their long term friend had just died, and kicks Josh out of all the IT stuff. He was only there for IT stuff, so he just dropped out.

The interesting part was that the teacher then blamed Josh directly for the other teacher’s death, which is pretty fucked up regardless.

I introduced netsend to my school too and got threatened with expulsion over it (plus shoulder surfing an admin password).

If you didn’t use netsend to IM friends during IT class, what was the point of being there?
An old job I worked at years ago had an ancient UNIX program sandboxed in windows for patient scheduling and schedule lookup. I used it to check if my coworkers were idle and would send random messages to confuse them and ask why they were not working. Sometimes I would send fake gossip too. Fun times.

Joah should have been rewarded for trying to use humor to brighten the day of the school.

First the spergy anime letter that Josh salted and burned
Josh can attest to this. I have never once sent Josh a letter, anime related or otherwise. I just started the project as a way to give Josh consistent money. It was just a fun project it being Enoch was just chance. I gave a choice of bible books and "or if you want something weird how about Enoch" because someone did the same thing with the Book of Matthew with Sam Hyde one paid verse at a time. If Sam Hyde had been paid to read Dune or something, I am sure I would have picked like Starship Troopers or a Warhammer short story.
Didn't the Enoch thing start because Josh got asked what the price to read the whole thing would be and then jokingly told the guy he'd only do it superchat by superchat, probably assuming the cost and time requirement would put the guy off actually doing this? I could be getting Mandela effected but I feel like I remember something like that in a stream ages ago.

I'm actually kinda curious about a profit breakdown now. How much was made off the Enoch stuff, both the guy chatting Josh to read it and the people who sometimes outbid him for Josh to not read it.
I support Josh's work and because my card won't work on Gumroad I wanted to give him consistent money even when I had nothing to say. And read above reply. Recently a similar thing happened with Sam Hyde, so I figured it would result in some good fan content in a few years, so I offered "Want to make an audiobook one verse at a time like Sam Hyde did, I will send in Superchats to read them when I have nothing to say."

I tried to aim for 2 dollars a verse. I upped it to $3 occasionally if I felt it was particularly long and difficult. I try to group them so it might be one verse a show if it is long, or 4 verses if they are all like 4 words long. Spending $12 a week on average is not really an issue for me.

Null is the type of guy to get suspended in school for flooding someone's email with pictures of black shirtless fat guys

My boomer teachers had no idea how computers worked. We would all just play Newgrounds flash games, tab out really quickly and they had no idea 😎

Eventually a group of us kids figured out we could play emulated games from a USB. Literally everyone was playing Pokemon FireRed.
Your username and pfp suggests that you should have been playing Ruby or Sapphire. Traitor.

Someone at my school installed Halo CE, Quake, and Unreal Tournament on the school district's servers (In hindsight it was probably someone in IT, not a student) which we would play all the time.

I'd like for Nöll to play the latest hit game by Jewgle Maps. The rules are simple: open GM, hover over to India, and pick a random spot with Street View available. You win if you can do a 360 without finding any trash, rubble, or piles of cow shit.
Example:

Just saw last one. Damn Amy Adams hit the wall, it was insane seeing that.

And about Wu... I had the exact same reaction. I started to feel a little bad for a second. Then before you said it I went 'hey wasn't he one of the biggest Gamergate ones that tried to destroy people?' It's just like Marzgurl whining that people don't treat her nice, atter she has literally canceled people over nothing at all. It's hard to go for the sympathy move when your claim to fame is to wreck people over games or hazy hearsay for basically just internet clout. And yes, he's just doing it cause the tide is changing. He's covering his ass, period.
