"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Here are some exerpts from Trump's NAZI rally at Maddison Square Garden for your news segment.

It was honestly something out of that cartoon you read on twitter.

The tone was set even outside the venue, where RSBN interviewed an animated asian woman waiting in line:

It did not disappoint for over-the-top speakers. Trump's speech was largely unremarkable, but...
First was Rudy Giuliani, who always brings schizoboomer energy!

He also had this quotable quip:

Grant Cardone says of Democrats "we need to slaughter these other people"

Oh yeah, this guy (Tony Hinchcliffe) made headlines with this joke:

We are living in a political circus. I hope your Election Stream with PPP and Warski does it justice.

> ...in the middle of MGTOW Manhattan

Are my ears broken? English is not my first language, but what the is he actually saying? "middle of middle town"? Don't tell me Americans are naming their streets like black people naming their kids.

What Rudy Giuliani's saying in that clip is "in the middle of midtown Manhattan", which does sound redundant- it means, if there's a part of Manhattan that could be considered 'midtown', the middle of the town, then they are in the middle of the middle of it, the center of the center. Many cities have a part of them that is considered 'midtown' by the locals.

REGARDING CONCORD, firewalk studio put up a statement about their studio shutting down. If you ever need industrial amounts of copium, just read this image, as it contains it.

Jon "Fellow" "Stewart" does the meme in his newest episode

He also tries the "first they came for X" angle on Trump's deportation policies but accidentally puts forward an extremely based proposal

Fishtank has a contestant to fill the crackhead-shaped hole in your heart. Meet Alex, motormouth exotic pet owner and chubby chaser:

2:14 - Just be yourself
5:14 - "Tell us about yourself and what interests you about being on television"
8:20 - "How much have you spent on your exotic pets?"
9:26 - He goes off on a tangent about his pet monkeys
10:42 - soft confirmation on the theory about Sam Hyde's "multiple takes for comedy" thing
11:50 - "Do you have any kids" "Weird situation ... my son is almost my age"
15:38 - Sam and Ben are doing a bit with each other while Alex, unperturbed, keeps rambling
16:53 - They try to get him to read a line but he can't focus and keeps chattering instead
17:54 - As a kid his mom had to watch him take his adderall because he'd throw it up
20:11 - More monkey talk
22:27 - He's invested in a collection's company, and his dad's will specified that anyone not supporting themselves gets left out

No backup because preservetube's not working, and the video gets choppy at times due to wiggertech.

Korean people have the “ua” ending for all their sentences because that’s their informal verb ending and uptilting it like that makes it sort of insulting.

Even formal ending is “subnida”, but you’d just use the question ending for that which is “subnikka”

This is because their language had existed for about a thousand years and was literally made by the one philosopher king Korea ever had

I like WEBP, but you have to make sure to save the colour profile also only use avif or vp9. vp8 is AIDs.

TLDR: Used to be bad, newer compression algorithms supported are not as bad.

For future forum development please make sure it's the newer compression algorithms. Thanks.

How did he watch all of "Coraline" without internalizing how to pronounce "Coraline"? Fascinating, as always.
I'm no neuroscientist nor a linguist, so please be patient --
Usually when people make quirky mispronunciations, they can claim the excuse that they have only read the word, but never heard it pronounced, but there is a Dunning Kruger element to this situation, because even before the Internet, one could look up any unfamiliar word in the dictionary, and use the pronunciation guide for each word entry.
In the situation here, with having watched the movie, Coraline, and surely heard the titular character's name uttered numerous times, the DK mix of arrogance and possible laziness is absent. It is as though sheer stubborn will to overwrite reality itself is at play.
