His channel is gone now (DFE after pedo accusations). he was/is an indian in Canada on a work/student visa employed as one of those dudes that holds an advertisement sign on street corners for local businesses, a job reserved almost purely for low IQ tards, and drug addicts. These are the only videos i managed to grab before it was all gone

French press is the simplest, most convenient and cheapest way to make an excellent cup of coffee imo.

The simplest way to make consistently a smooth black French press coffee that Ive found is:

- 8-10g per 8oz water coarse ground coffee (light/medium roast)

- 3-4 minutes

It's not very difficult. I also have a method of making iced coffee that is like a Japanese iced coffee but adapted to be brewed in a French press. It's super delicious and enjoyable black, plus it gives me that caffeine hit like nothing I've ever had. Simply follow the method I've written above, but half the amount of water and measure the other half as ice cubes. Then pour the hot coffee over your ice and serve.

Also, I forgot to add the most important thing. No pre-ground coffee, ever. Not only is it disgusting because there are literal insects ground in it (yes I am serious, look it up) but it will never taste as good as it being ground yourself or by your store on the spot. Always store in a air tight jar (no plastic lids, they don't work).

I don't think that a different method of brewing coffee is going to help josh's predicament. He doesn't like the grit of french presses, it is unlikely he would put the effort into something with less grit such as a chemX pour over or he would have to invest in a expresso machine ( witch can be very expensive). I feel like us coffee freaks can get over zealous on what we particularly enjoy and forget that most people ( including dear feeder) add shit to their coffee. He said he added One cup of milk to every coffee. Assuming a 355ml cup of coffee (can of coke) size; that is almost half of his cup of coffee, that is not raw coffee. Many people just do not like their coffee with out sugar or milk, the ethics or morals can be debated, but ultimately despite all of the wonderful brewing advice I've seen, it may not work for Josh and others like him,

Also he is absolutely correct about coffee additives adding to total weight retention and gain, I added cream to my coffee to gain weight and it worked wonders

I used to put a lot of effort into making the nicest coffee. I used an Italian moka pot with filtered artisanal mineral water and fresh, locally-roasted coffee I'd grind immediately before brewing. I tried a French press. I tried an Aeropress. I tried a Chemex pour-over. I tried cold-brewing.

Ultimately I decided it's just not worth the effort. Now I just put a spoonful of instant coffee in a cup of room-temperature water. I don't even care enough to heat it up anymore since I sip it so slowly it ends up cold anyway. It's ok. It's also cheap and low-effort. It's less than $10 for 200 cups or so and each one takes me approximately twenty seconds to make.

People react to this with disgust. But don't people drink iced coffee? Cold-brew coffee? What is this but slightly less-cold iced coffee? Put an ice cube in it if you care to. Or even go to the trouble of heating up some water for it if you're feeling fancy.

Someone's always going to be out there with expensive, time-consuming, inconvenient tips to make your coffee marginally better, and there's more variations on methods of getting the juice and the drug out of the beans than you can count on both hands. But, personally, if I want something nice, I'll just drink tea. Coffee is utilitarian.

Further coffee sperging: Example of this, cold brew. It's less acidic, as the process doesn't involve heating it up. It's very easy to make, but tends to be on the stronger flavor side even without the acidity. Worth a shot if you have the space in your fridge.

The Pirate Party, for a very short time, had an actual chance to establish themselves as legitimate here in Germany. They were super one note, but their topic was (and still is) on no others party agenda, so they found a following amongst the younger more tech conscious generation back in the day. This caused them to actually get enough of a percentage of votes to not be listed amongst the "others" in reporting, although if I remember it correctly they still never got into any sort of parliament. These results then unfortunately caused them to get attention from the mainstream media which, in an effort to tear them down, started asking them exclusively about their positions outside their core competency. The Pirates that were interviewed then, like complete retards, began to throw out some half baked ultra progressive ideas that they had not actually cleared with their voter base or party membership and which ultimately lead to their death. This was before that shit got any mainstream traction. I sometimes wonder what could have been had they only stuck to being a one issue party for longer before transitioning into more mainstream positions, like the Greens did (they started as a one note anti-nuclear party).

My state has a pirate party. I looked into it and found out they have a discord, I joined and it was actually like 30 trannies from the urban part of my state who use the party as an excuse to hang out and probably do degen tranny things. They hadn't engaged in even a tiny bit of politics. It was incredibly retarded. I think european pirate parties are better.

They just ruin everything. I hope and pray that people get even more sick of their shit even faster than ever before. It's a good thing that they aren't messing with politics as much as I expected them to. They get high off having authority, maybe it's because they also know they're stupid and no one would vote for them.

They've achieved real political power and even been part of the government in some countries, but... you'd never guess... they always turn out to be crazy leftists who are more concerned with letting faggots get married and rerouting government funds to their retarded unemployable friends from liberal arts school, than any meaningful pro-freedom policy change.

If someone were to take up smoking, the tobacco pipe is so much cooler. Smells better, tastes better and you gotta put in a little bit of effort to pack the bowl; which to the romantic types, they see it as a sort of meditation. Hell of a lot cheaper if you don't mind a drug store blend like Captain Black or their cherry blend and smoking from a classic corn cob for around 20$ or so all together.

Loose leaf tea and what you get in satchets are night and day. I have a friend from Taiwan who brings me some green tea every now and then and my God it's so good. And unlike coffee you can steep quality teas multiple times. I usually can get 3-4 good steepings per tea spoon of leaves. If you find some good tea leaves try it out. It's really nice.

About the film american beauty I d like to add some very weird context to it.

I m more of gen X er, and we alive for the cold war. There were very depressing movies like threads about how we were all gonna die in nuclear fire.

Then in the early 1990s the USSR fell. America Won the cold war. China opened up and made cheap shit, all the resources from the Eastern block came on the market, it was a materially prosperous time for Americans the stress and anxiety about the cold war was gone.

That ended in on 9/11.

Anyway if you look at these three films from 1999

Office space (comedy)
American Beauty (drama)
The Matrix (Sci Fi)

All have a MC that basically rebels against the statusqoue

They all had a zeitgeist of "I m a good little office drone, but I m not happy, cant their be more than this."

affordable housing, good jobs, and having families were a give if not a expectation. And all the characters from those movies rebel in one form or another.

My thesis is "American beauty" resonated with people in 1999 because it reflected or tapped into that ethos.

Its like trying to watch shows from the 1970 s or 1980s like Macgyver with out understanding the bipolar world that existed before the USSR fell.

Finally the message of "fuck having a family, a house and job" I guess its there but the world/time the film was made in gone and it doesnt hold up.
