It's a publicly accessible archive of gaming related history & information, including resources ranging from Interviews with Game Developers, concept art, early builds of games, scans of magazines that not only feature the digitized pages but are even searchable by text, among other highly specific cataloging autism for research and preservation.
I believe these guys were told by the copyright office (or some US law firm) that said video games don't fall under the right of being preserved due to copyright law and corporate Intellectual Property or something. Not sure if that got sorted out but seeing as we have an available resource like this and not solely relying on the Internet Archive is a good thing methinks.

Any hope for the Shotshow 2025 VSS VAL situation to get a shout out?
TL;DR
Ian (forgotten weapons) made a video casting some serious doubts on a .300 Blackout VSS reproduction that premiered last week at this year's shotshow.
What they showed off was a prototype, but with some issues/concerns Ian had seen before with unicorn gun reproduction projects. (Especially how fast they claim they can bring it to market when they only have a prototype based on a single VSS example) The guy behind it sperged out online at Ian daring to raise concerns and ultimately wishing them luck on the project. Apparently he may also have a history of shitty suppressor work before hand.

Isn't the AR50 relatively cheap? IIRC it was bolt action and one of them exploded in some dudes face on livestream cause of squib but its probably the cheapest 50cal you can get.

That was Serbu rn-50, a single shot, THREAD CAP LOCK rifle, And it was kentucky ballistics who shot the gun.
He shot some SLAP rounds(they are SABOT sub caliber rounds, think of shooting a smaller diameter bullet, but way fucking faster than your 50 cal could achieve).

Just google Blaser R93 explosion, the locking lugs are 8 leaf springs that are forced into battery.
