They shouldn't be. It's an unnecessary and dehumanizing job.
Postal delivery is literally so important that after WW2 the first thing we did in the occupation was set up postal service and we were in such a hurry to do so that we kept 3rd Reich stamps (all of which featured Hitler) to remain in circulation with monetary value.

Getting things from Point A to Point B is probably up there with prostitution and farming as the first jobs mankind created.

I guess this is my fault for not keeping up with modern high-society parlance. Outside of medical, where you note your 'sex' as 'male' or 'female', in every other real world conversation it's 'man' or 'women', with 'male' and 'female' being used for specific cases. I personally have never heard or uttered the phrase 'female-gendered' in my entire life. It seems a silly tautology.

Delivering pieces of paper and maybe a small parcel or two are one thing.

Whoever this is orders the exact same thing by the cartload. If I understand that nigger it’s fucking water.

Well we already have UPS, USPS and FedEX. Why do we need Amazon too? It's a lot worse than a delivery company. Amazon can't even ship government documents so they're only good for buying gay plastic trinkets.

Grandpa Null is telling the hitler stamp story again. *sigh*

No but yeah, obviously physical logistics is the main important thing in the world. That other guy who said it wasn't is smoking something or else never goes outside.

dumbfucks still don't understand that we need post. they'll defend some nog chimping out because muh post is such a bad job UwU

wow guess what every job sucks, that's why indians have concocted an entire scheme to destroy the United States in order to get white collar jobs that don't require doing anything

Would you rather a planned economy, tovarisch?
Are you retarded? I said in plain English Amazon thrives from speculative markets. Amazon hasn't broken a profit since covid ended and if we had a real free market they would be bankrupt by now.

The nigger is in the right, actually. Did you know that 20% of their customer base makes 60% of the purchases. And it's always dumb gay trinkets that they'll throw away in a week or things they could have bought at the grocery store a few blocks away. The Amazon app is structured to make you addicted to daily purchases. If you quantified the amount of wasted gas, jet fuel, man hours and technology to deliver a toothbrush to a guys front door, you would be sickened. We should shame everyone who makes any and especially daily purchases from Amazon. Now the nigger is going about it in a stupid way. Smart Amazon drivers smash repeate customers packages in the truck and deliver them broken shit. If that happens three times in a week, Amazon has lost an addicted customer. Don't be upset with the nigger, you don't realize how many times a week they have to go to the same house to deliver a single small box, it would break you too.
Actually if you're an Amazon employee you should be fucking grateful that those people who order everything online are paying the majority of your paycheck. If they all start going to Walmart for all their shit then you are out of a job. If you don't like to deliver packages maybe that job just isn't for you. The postman goes to the same houses every day too and doesn't have a meltdown over it.

Is a driver's shift over at a certain hour or is the shift over once a given load of goods has completed delivery? Do they leave with X deliveries and clock out when they're done or do they take the truck back at a certain pre-ordained hour and another driver resumes (possibly after adding cargo?)? The only relevance to this question is if spurious deliveries can force a driver to work past the time they'd prefer to be off. Do drivers have forced overtime or not? If spurious deliveries can force you to miss things in your personal life, the nature of the grievance has some legitimacy, however retarded an on the clock retarded chimpout is. At minimum, it justifies an off hours gripe. If they just have to do deliveries during a certain time frame, it doesn't matter how frequent or stupid the purchases are, the driver is at work either way and the gripe is completely unjustified. Either way, don't be surprised when an on the clock gripe has consequences for current or future employment, especially when recorded.

I get that the game that is thrust upon us in modern society is dumb in many ways, but you have to play it. Maybe it's just me, but spinning your wheels about how screwy everything is and imagining some idealized utopia seems a waste of time -- trying to control the modern economic reality that has birthed Amazon is nigh impossible; choosing to work or not to work for said company delivering boxes is something eminently within one's power. I'd rather focus on the later than the former.

The deliveryman is a nigger who hates workibg, but the reciever is probably being a nigger in how he is ordering delivery.

Be kind to your deliverymen by placing your orders on Mondays and asking for delivery by Friday.
I'd like to see options to accept slower delivery (and possibly lower prices) by ensuring no one will have to work overnight or over the weekend to deliver my shit outside of long haul transport like boats and planes.
Also minimize how much shit you get deliverd to your house, it makes wasteful spending easier to do. Also know that every dollar you spend on sites like Amazon gets split between niggers like this guy and the most evil corporations ever to exist.
I don't think even Standard Oil was bad to the point of working towards the most expeditious way to destroy the concept of the nuclear family.

Amazon delivery driver berates a customer's doorbell cam over how much stuff they order.
more specifically they seem pissed about hauling bottles of water. While I can sympathize that it sucks to haul water, for some delivery positions that is all they do and they are all men for a reason. It's just one one house, they should hit the gym.

You're stretching a lot. Where did i say utopia? I'm just a fucking guy, I can't control or plan the economy.

I'll keep it simple. I don't like Amazon. I believe they are more wasteful than beneficial. And i didn't realize that was such a controversial opinion but apparently I'm talking to the jews hardest working goyim.

One of the perverse incentives of Prime is you get the most bang for your buck by maximizing your free deliveries. If you don't order anything for a year, Prime was worthless outside of the Amazon Prime programming. You have to do a certain amount of deliveries per year to break even. My neighbor is a chronic delivery recipient, literal DSP levels. The prospect of a day going by without a delivery is the exception, most days have several. I am not exaggerating to say that they receive AT LEAST 500 deliveries per year (from all sources for all things) and the number is possibly closer to 1000. I made a rather large splurge when I bought my house and ordered a LOT in the first month, but other than that, I use delivery service between 2 and 6 times a year for the last 4 years (the totality of 22-24 and the portion of 25). In 21, I had 9 deliveries but some of those were multipackage deliveries, I definitely ordered more packages in 21 than the 15 deliveries I've had since, by how much isn't relevant.

Anecdotes aside, even when you have a modest delivery volume, the mental relief of not having to consider a surcharge every time contains a sense of relief of being prepaid. The thought of needing a lot of deliveries in the future year because of an injury or something makes it something akin to insurance. If I break my leg in June and need a lot of deliveries, Prime will save me a lot. There's a lot of people who do less than 10 deliveries a year who pay the Prime annual fee just for the knowledge that they CAN make 100 deliveries if circumstances compel it or if feelings change.

have you ever worked to directly serve entitled, fat, disgusting slobs? pretending you aren't being disrespected so you can keep your job is dehumanizing. driving around delivering people's boxes is not dehumanizing. you come off as a faggot communist. maybe rethink your position because you clearly lack perspective.

The only reason I'm coming across as defending Amazon is because I believe the delivery driver is in the wrong to be choosing to make the decision to deliver boxes while also complaining about delivering boxes. Trying to shift the blame of this to the corporation is to absolve the driver of the consequences of their own decision -- they aren't a child nor an invalid (although I expect some on here would argue that because the driver is a melinated woman, she has zero agency).

Yes, I will wholeheartedly agree, Amazon is bad. The culture of consumption that has turned a large populace into cattle is also bad. If you feel convicted, by all means avoid using their services and not seeking employment by them.

In Ghostpolitics news Ghostler created a subreddit dedicated towards the show only for it to get raided and taken down by reddit a few hours later.
