I know the feeling, but it was less the soda and more me not being able to keep a proper tooth brushing schedule due to exhaustion from life and school shit way way back in the day. According to the dentist my teeth are fine and healthy but I look at my mouth and am mildly unnerved by the slightly transparent bits on my teeth that are definitely from me not brushing often enough way back when and the acid shit staying on.

We have a drinkmate Omnifizz and use the soda stream flavoring syrup. So, I have to actually make the soda, and it's still the zero sugar syrup, but you control how much you're putting in. Also can make fizzy anything with it. I find it's personally much more hydrating than off the shelf soda, and also doesn't taste as strong because I don't put much in. I kinda like how it tastes more than bottled soda. Bottled soda is so strong to me now.

Despite working in a store that's primary revenue was EBT I learn something new everyday. I encountered a lot of fraud. Women who run nail and hair salons buying snacks with someone else's EBT and selling them for cash at the salon. Also, people on EBT don't even buy diet soda. They literally only buy the full sugar loaded versions. I never saw them buying diet. Carts full of cases of soda and their children there beside them. That job opened my eyes to how awful a system it really is. These people have brand new phones, air pods, cars, etc. They eat fucking prime cuts of meat and seafood and buy tons of snacks and soda. They are living like royalty.

I have no idea where I heard this, but it sticks out in my mind that I was once told people generally getting basically a dollar for every 2 EBT dollars spent if you're buying groceries, so 50% back. 2.40/5.90 is still 40% instead of 50% and then you don't need to wait for a client who actually wants groceries & then do their shopping and shit. Maybe the laziness is worth taking the hit on it for some people. Maybe Pacific northwest is a buyer's market for EBT fraud groceries and the prices are depressed by too many sellers.
 
I kind of wish I had some sort of group of people to provide me insights from parts of the forum I never visit when things happen I might be interested in. After Aaron Imholte got his plea of $50 and I first heard of this from Kino Casino, I realized I absolutely was not utilizing the forum as well as I could be.
