Caught up on shit. I'm hoping the part bringing up that one vice article again was partly a bit to get the anime people flustered because like it completely skirts over the fact that article was an actual hitpiece that blurred out framed unrelated shit as CP on top of the pedo interview thing, and the former was what got people universally pissed online, not the pedo interview.

That convenient omission, 4chan being mentioned as 8chan, and the constant pronunciation of what's clearly implied yelling as "uh oh!" gives me the same vibe as the people covering sonichu that pronounce it "sonech chew" in shitty video essays i've unintentionally witnessed the last few years. it ok though meng I forgive jew.

Never gonna forgive the actual pedos though for co-opting a probably WELL over a decade old meme even if it does stem from some anime game thing from like 2007
Despite cultural osmosis making me aware of it I never really actively went out of my way to see the fucking thing until a friend sat me down during corona times and was like "fuck you watch me play this i'm gonna see your reaction". By the way I never finished that thing because scheduling never lined up on his end even though I'm pretty sure we were close to the end and then some other shit went down that basically guarantees I'm not gonna finish this shit unless I go through it myself which I can't be fucking assed to.

I was trying to find a good upload of a 15+ year old upload of the original clip but instead I found this shitpost edit from 4 years back refrencing the pedos.
I also realize the stream just abrubtly cuts out and ends while talking about sam hyde stuff which is probably what people were talking about earlier with the internet connection.

Well Ralph crashing into the power pole aside, I really liked the Ana Valens/Phil/Kirshe/Vtuber faggotry segment. Josh was extrordinarily fair, then unloaded exactly what he was thinking with both barrels at the end. And he's right. Everyone is kinda ass in this situation and deserves a whipping. Its been entertaining as fuck to watch in real time over the past week, but it was immensely satisfying for Josh to bring it back to earth.

I can't even figure out what you're saying. If you're trying the claim the "uoh :crying:" emoji is anything but pedophile shit you're straight up lying to my fucking face.

I already said the current usage is 100% pedo shit but the ancient fucking media quote meme was just someone going "UOUUUUHH"(screaming not uh oh) and then saying whatever characters name they were horny about or whatever the fuck as a reference to some japanese weeb thing where some old guy was drunkely yelling in a way people found funny. Please don't frame me pointing out pedos aren't creative is me somehow saying the current things not pedo shit.

To put things plainly, the "Ouh" thing's screaming, not "uh oh" but it very much makes me go "uh oh" when I see the "uooouh crying emoji" shit now.

EDIT: a slightly edited meme clip I found that uses unedited audio. crying emoji thing literally is referencing the drunken crying of this guy (who's also really fucked up morally in his own way but he's like the bad guy grandpa or whatever)
By the way this thing is also the thing that digibro stole his (mispronounced) troon name and title from. Once again wouldnt be as knowledgable if not for 2000s internet cultural osmosis and then friend showing me the thing to see my reactions in 2020s.

I can't really defend kirshe, because I'm sure people could dig up things that I absolutely wouldn't cosign someone doing. But at the same time. I feel like she at least shouldn't get shit for things pippa does.

As far as I have seen, which admittedly isn't too much, she is the least horrible v-tuber around.
