"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Don't be a snob and don't overthink it. I use one of those cheap Tchibo capsule machines and I fill the capsules myself with ground coffee. The capsules consist of just three parts and can be cleaned easily. New capsules are too expensive in the long run. I'm not very particular about my coffee and when I make it this way, it tastes just fine.
Now I had like coffee at coffee shops (Not starbucks because im no faggo)
They often use bean machines and they always make it taste pretty good.

Right now I am using a Senseo machine I got from my sister during my housewarming.

"Rev says desu" is one of the content creators Asmongold will react-watch and upload as a half-hour video to YouTube semi-regularly. It's baffling that he just takes that man voice coming out of a female vtuber model and says nothing like it's somehow normal, just because Rev will have something useful to say about libshit game devs or journos or whatever, though ultimately the reason they're even watched is because Asmongold's subreddit updoots it to him.

I think there would be an interesting rogues gallery to laugh at if you were to deep dive into the moderators of Asmongold's subreddit and twitch chat.
being a moralfag is like carrying the fucking cross. there's so many people i will just never interact with and i dont care what they have to say.

So the "Hey guys. [name] here. woah thing happened? thing happened" youtube guys are now reacting to each other's "thing happened" videos? Jesus christ.

Listening to the most recent podcast, just arrived at the Bossman segment, the scream in question from the lamb gambling game sounded familiar

Looked into it - it is known as the Howie Scream (named after Howie Long who had it added to a scene where his character dies in the John Woo film Broken Arrow). The first time it appeared in media was in a film from 1980 called The Ninth Configuration
It's from a media recording pack created for ADRing movies in post-production and is officially called "Scream 3: Man, Gut-Wrenching Scream and Fall Into Distance" which was subsequently sped up to create the fast zombie screaming noise in Half-Life 2

Just saw this mentioned on Twitter. Have you seen this yet, Josh? Not sure how it applies to fair use.

The bill makes it a federal crime to “knowingly publish” or threaten to publish intimate images without a person’s consent, including AI-created “deepfakes.” Websites and social media companies will be required to remove such material within 48 hours after a victim requests it. The platforms must also take steps to delete duplicate content.

Edit: Oh, someone mentioned it like an hour ago.

There's a whole eco-system that's popped up around Asmon, to get noticed by him is definitely a boon because there's many examples where he'll watch a video with 200 views, like it alot, and he'll tell the audience "here's the link to the video, give them a sub, a like & a view guys" and it works, it's a huge boon to other channels because Asmon's audience is built different.

Semi-related, during recent India-Pakistan aggression videos Asmongold has made, he pulls stats for his channel which shows how surprisingly global his audience is, with many viewers in turd-world countries such as India.

Because it's so valuable to be shown or featured on Asmongold's reacts once or repeatedly, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a system to game with the moderators of his twitch channel and/or subreddit to get artificially featured or pushed up into baldy's eyes as an ideal piece of content for him. There's nothing weird about being a small creator and just posting your own video to plebbit and hoping for the best, but with this much turn-key money involved in slop videos, I'm sure you could "pay to play" if you knew the right profile to ping. After a certain point, it becomes both inevitable and expected that it gets min/maxed this way.

The Asmon-rev connection isn't weird per se, but it might be valuable in the future to make a spider web chart of who Asmon regularly reacts to since this is interesting to a few people. A follow-the-money sort of reference point.

man. I'm expecting the site is going to get a lot of these requests. I image only fans whores are going to be jumping all over this one.

Hopefully at this won't start creeping into anything other than those kinds of images. But this is the kind of law, that makes me worried. This and hate speech laws. I feel like it starts really creeping closer to stepping on freedom to share information, and freedom of speech. It already further than I think is necessary. I feel like revenge porn is where this kind of law should stop.

And i thought daddy trump was going to save us.

Trump saw that we managed to raise $40k and decided to fuck us.

Does anyone have a snippet of Nöll explaining fascism like one would to a toddler? Because I have some adult toddlers that need to be smacked around their gob until they stop calling everything they dislike fascism.

I would never tell the whales not to dono, it's interesting to see them do so in a way that denies them perks elsewhere though. By giving to the GiveSendGo, you're missing out on Locals perks, T&H banner, Rumble's tiered whale icons, Gilded T&H border + front page highlighting, etc. Locals is the highlight, because if you have donated though that channel it would've had a side-benefit of demonstrating Josh's clout to Rumble. I know Locals is a pain in the ass to sign up for though. Is making a GiveSendGo account and shooting money into it that much easier?

It's generally pointless trying to explain anything to people like that. In my experience, their eyes just glaze over momentarily before they go right back to yammering about whoever they perceive to be evil.

When I was young, my mother recalled that my grandmother trained my mom to drink black coffee on the theory that, when a guest at someone's home for coffee (back when that kind of socialising was a thing), the host may not always have cream or sugar to offer (this would have been during the Great Depression/Stupid War II rationing period).

My mom passed that down to her children (as I have to mine). So now, having coffee with cream is a treat, like a dessert after mealtime, and not something to have every day.

TorrentFreak: U.S. ISPs Want Retrospective Immunity in Pirate Site Blocking Bill (archive)
At a recent Senate subcommittee hearing, the Motion Picture Association reiterated the need for a pirate site blocking regime in the United States. Behind the scenes, lawmakers and stakeholders appear to be progressing towards an agreed-upon position. One of the main roadblocks, according to Senator Coons, is that Internet providers are seeking retroactive immunity as part of a 'deal'.
Between the Take It Down Act, KOSA, site blocking (FADPA), and whatever else Congress is cooking up, I don't think the uppercase-I internet is going to do so well under Trump.

@Null hey idk if you do music requests and if you're still okay playing copyrighted music as intros but can I make a suggestion for this as intro music for an episode.

Yes expected as much.
Yea. And Kiwi Farms also straight up hosts a repository of "revenge porn" lol.

So,
@XJosh
is definitely affected by this new federal law.

I sure hope no one reports him to law enforcement! 85% of your time and no parole! 😬

I've been drinking black coffee since I bought the aeropress. I should really explain I have never in my life drank black coffee. I couldn't stand it.

As a brief timeline of my adventures into 'health', about 4 years ago I started a diet competition with PPP and lost a significant amount of weight. The next New Years, I quit drinking soda entirely. I still desperately needed caffeine, so I started drinking coffee. Coffee was disgusting so I would put milk into it. That ruined my weight loss.

I've never had soda since but I have continued to drink coffee until I started my diet again in February. Since then I have lost almost 40 pounds. I also quit caffeine entirely over Lent. I decided to start trying coffee again after Lent with an aeropress to try and find black coffee I could drink, before I would go buy an espresso machine and electric grinder. I am actually able to enjoy two cups of black coffee a day now.

I just find it strange that Asmongold gives Rev the time. I'm the one that wrote Rev's thread, and that's always been puzzling. Yes, Rev breaks news down into dummy proof 10 minute segments even a idiot can understand. He's also a freak if you look into his history whatsoever. Lolicon, incest advocate, chubby chaser- the list goes on. And every once and a while, Asmongold plays one of his videos with his ghetto avatar. It's so fucking gay. Literally find ANYONE else telling the exact same news.
