Even apart from that, the idea that there’s a treaty that requires bombers to be left on show to satellites is just not accurate now if it ever was. All bombers of all nations are now susceptible to drones so they’re going to end up in hangars anyway, treaty or not.

Both nuclear and non nuclear bombers were attacked. Both are legitimate targets, any kvetching to the contrary is just that, kvetching.

Slightly OT, if Michael Shellenberger slid into your DMs, what would you do? He's guested on Joe Rogan before, and he says freeze peachy words, but I might not align with him (((politically.)))
I don't want this opportunity to go to waste, assuming it is real [my 1st thought was that he was a bot, option never off the table], so if there were something I could do for the 'Farms in this direction, what would it be?

I just realized Null had mentioned Cat 8... I thought it was a typo. No, apparently it's the new hype for cable sellers on Amazon since there appears to be no 40G hardware out there that can yet use it. I'd be surprised if more than 10% of the cables out there meet the spec since no one is likely to notice if it doesn't. For good measure the shield part on most of them is gold plated. I just use 6A like a normal person. I can't imagine how horrible Cat 8 jacks will be to terminate.

I'd recommend a quikclot injector, it's a syringe with these little white pucks in it.
Carefully place it inside a wound and deploy the tablets and it should seal the wound.

Enrico is saying that basically freedesktop and wayland proponents are woke and intentionally killing Xorg. The usual suspects say he is incompetent and a chud basically. Anyway Enrico seems based and I'm hoping they succeed in making Xorg great again. Then xfce just needs ignore wayland for Xlibre and artix needs to package it then I'll never have to deal with wayland garbage.

I'm watching the new fork. It would be great to see xorg, actually modernized. Fix the security issues. Fix the bugs that effect modern desktop users. Have something outside of Red Hat (IBM) that people can use in the unix world. I do think it's not a conspiracy theory that freedesktop is trying to sunset xorg at this point, despite what I have seen some wayland shills saying.

It's going to need a lot of help to actually get there though. Especially if they really want to make the changes they are saying they want to make. Without it taking years to just get off the ground floor. It's still really early on in this project though. So we will see if it ends up crashing after a few months, or it actually becomes something.

Josh, I was also very confused about Chris the Kiwi and Chris Cantwell being two entirely separate humans until last week, so it's ok.
Man, that fucking guy. Chris the Kiwi was a genuine fucking weirdo. Different time, different time...
