If you really want to boil down how reused content creation is, everything goes back to either Theater - Character arcs with degrees of compelling stories, or News-casts - Person talking about thing. MATI? News-cast. WWE? Theater. Despite his show being formatted like a News-cast, Ralph is actually Theater. Most lolcow content can be classified under Theater.

I mean, 2020 ~ 2025 Metokur is not the same as old Metokur. Back then it felt like he made some of this videos just because he liked talking about weird people and weird shit, which was one of the reasons i personally found MATI so interesting back in the day. You've changed the format quite a bit since 2018, at first you were doing "people stream" almost every other week, then you changed it more to a variety show where there's the lolcow segment, news, politics etc, so it has undoubtedly become more and more it's own thing, it's also very well structured and i like that it's not just you waiting for people to give you the content to react to (or that you don't just derail the whole stream because someone donated).
You could just say everyone indirectly ripped of Mystery Science Theater since when you really boil it down most of them are just riffing on someone else's product. In the 00s it was bad movies and video games e.g. Nostalgia Critic, AVGN, Red Letter Media, etc and now it's weird people and it's mostly live instead of recorded but the basic format remains the same.

Damn, you're 100% right, MST3K is 100% what led to most of the internet shows we see to this day. James Rolfe and Doug Walker were probably inspired by MST3K and without them you don't get people like Lindsay Ellis, Linkara, GameGrumps, Jontron, Scott The Woz etc.

It's overstated. IMO the only legit cases of Jimwalking were Gator and that one furry Coyote Lovely (just listen to this). Meanwhile looking outside of the Sektur the amount of blatant AVGN and Nostalgia Critic clones back in the day was beyond and it was way more obvious. Doug himself was accused of being an AVGN clone ffs.
