You are mistaken, this is from the last book after Dany ate poisonous berries and got diarrhea. Anyway, grrm did say that he considers Dany-Drogo marriage a love story, which is very funny when in one chapter Dany considers suicide because of the pain from Drogo raping her so much. So it's rather clear that grrm thinks all of this is hot.

He's the same guy who bitched about how women didn't fawn over his self-insert Sam Tarly (fat, cowardly kind-hearted bookworm character).

I've been having the same problem recently with yt-dlp that you brought up on MatI specifically with Youtube videos in avc1 but downloading them in vp9 works still. The major issue is some videos just don't have vp9 as an option which really sucks cause avc1 looks like dogshit. I own DVD's that look better than some videos on youtube & it's mostly ones uploaded at 1080p with avc1 as the only codec option.

This shit is why you can't trust what AI writes when there's an opinion involved. For computer code it's fine because it's just math, but this is most definitely not.

The 14 year old gets sold by her brother into marriage to a mongol warlord so they can retake the kingdom across the sea, then she gets stockholm syndromed into actually enjoying the resultant marital rape. She seems to actually believe the deranged horse tribe bullshit legends - that the child she's carrying will be the "stallion that mounts the world" AKA he will poopoo peepee rape everyone with the power of horses, and TOTAL MONGOL VICTORY will result.

Of course this doesn't happen because it's just a misery porn series disguised as thrilling fantasy. Instead, a blood mage curses the 14 year old and her child is turned into an abomination while still in the womb (don't think about it too much, she faints while going into labor and then wakes up and some character explains what happened). The blood mage transmits the life essence from the unborn child to the mongol warlord who the 14 year old enjoys getting raped by, saving him from an infected wound, but leaving him totally catatonic. The 14 year old is so distraught by this, that after burning the blood mage at the stake, she smothers her mongol rapist to spare him from the shame of living as a vegetable, then walks into his pyre with her dragon eggs. Then the eggs hatch and the fire doesn't hurt her because she is le blood of le dragon o algo.

After this, she frequently thinks with wistful fondness of her lost love as "my sun and stars", essentially seeing her arranged marriage, rape, and impregnation as one of the highlights of her life. This is completely fucking retarded and the redditors who love this slop only praise it because they can jerk off over realistic 14 year old stronk womyn, hence the empowerment phrase the AI uses.

Despite that, the showrunners had to make some shit up for the ending because the fat shitting man couldn't be assed to finish one book in FOURTEEN FUCKING YEARS. So they turned her into a psycho bitch who just straight up murders all the civilians in the capital city of her own kingdom. You know, the one she has spent the entire time trying to reclaim as her birthright. Then Jon "Plot Armor" Snow kills her because he's her half brother and he can see how fucked up she is so he's just gonna rule instead.

Yeah real empowered and totally only burning oppressors, totally not driven mad, just like her father, as was foreshadowed when she learned about how insane Aerys was from Barristan. Fucking reddit series. Double post because fuck you.

Speaking of George RR Martin, before he got famous for A SOY A.F. he had a sci-fi novel series set in a fictive universe called the "Thousand Worlds". Each novel takes place on a different planet, but they're somewhat loosely interconnected or something.

Anyway, where I'm getting at is that one of the novels is this really weird cuck story called Dying of the Light. It's about a guy who reunites with his ex-gf on some distant planet with a dying sun. On that planet there is some weird patriarchal culture where two guys marry one gal, if I remember correctly it's because they have a severe shortage of women or such. Obviously, the ex is married to two dudes. The guy fawns over his ex and gets involved in some love triangle type business. I think at the end he ends up sacrificing himself for his beloved m'lady and one of her husbands.

Other than that, I remember liking most of his short novels a lot better than ASOYAF. Mostly because they're short stand alone stories that are actually finished.

I never played Elden Ring and had no idea about any of that. Sounds fucked. I've known of The Loathsome Dungeater from memes and such, but until reading it in this thread earlier I wasn't really associating him with GRRM's writing either.

I remember reading some author's note taken from one of his comics somewhere on here. I don't remember him outright stating that he's a lolicon but I do remember him talking about how much he loves spending time around children with some of the most creepy art I've seen considering the context. I have no doubt in my mind this guys a full on pedophile.

From what I understand from him talking about it, he was behind more of the backstory & world building rather than writing for specific characters. I don't know how much of writing for the gods he was responsible for but the dungeater has more in line with japanese mythology (shirikodama)1768653999661.png link

There's another collaborative universe he created and edited called Wild Cards that is a super hero thing similar to Alan Moore's Watchmen, it's about as soyllenial as you're thinking, he does blogposts where he talks about these books all the time, he has done 15 of them since he last wrote a ASOIAF novel and he never lets his fans forget lol
