Agree & I remember this, but I'd bet money that if asked 99 out of 100 randoms polled would not connect these two names with a line even though it was a major news headline in 2022.

I think the first thing normies think of with Fuentes is the "Your body, MY choice bitch!" debacle, and with Ye its now the spread of "Jews bad" comments in a broad sense and not any one specific comment. Maybe my understanding of why normies brand anyone with the Scarlet Letter is skewed now on a site with Scooty-Puff shart streams.

Only times I touch Twitch is when I feel like visiting streamers with the nigger word videos and shocker videos and seeing them freak the fuck out because Twitch makes it where if you don't overreact to anything banned you can get banned even if you have nothing to do with that incident.

That's not laziness or an oversight. When things go away, they don't want you to know what was there.

A couple years ago YouTube came this close to deleting every video on every channel that hadn't been updated in a year. They astroturfed positive coverage of this brilliant environmentally and socially responsible decision everywhere and were totally shocked by the mass user backlash.

So they didn't do it, for now, but they really want to. Everyone who runs the internet now is an obsessive "deletionist"—as Wikipedia dorks used to insultingly call them. Then they took over Wikipedia and deleted most of it.

YouTube's peculiar spin on it is lying about having a storage shortage. A processing crunch I can believe, because their code is so shit, but piling up unwatched videos to the moon every day is nothing to them.

Reminds me of a video I saw recently talking about how modern people treat pagan gods compared to how gods are portrayed in Elder Scrolls (autistic I know) but the main point is how gods in history were typically used to explain the forces of the uncaring universe & world they lived in vs modern times people just want a pagan god that acts like Jesus to them more or less.

Everyone I knew during my Mellow Mushroom era has gone away. :( When null brought this up, I almost screamed at work. Up here in yankee-land, no one knows Mellow Mushroom, Krystal's, Winn-Dixie, or Waffle House. I get a little nostalgic sometimes.

That is supposed to represent the position of the Sun relative to some galactic landmarks (mainly pulsars, with the long line on the right going to galactic center). It was printed on plaques (among other things) attached to Pioneer 10 and 11, as well as the cover of the Voyager Golden Record on Voyager 1 and 2 (also among other things). Not entirely sure how it's supposed to be "based" considering it was designed by S*gan, but between it and the hand flag, I'd pick it easily.

This sounds terrible, but I'm afraid it's inevitable. It's hard not to succumb to this bullshit when they tie it to your ability to use banks and phones and get IDs. Just two months ago I was forced to give my fingerprints to get a national ID. Those fuckers disabled my ability to make transfers when my old ID was void.
