Kickstarter is rolling back their NSFW content rule changes. According to the post the reason the changes were made in the first place is because Stripe was abruptly banning projects part way through funding (and in some cases after funding was completed). [Archive]
That's all well and good, but it still doesn't actually fix the issue that Stripe is able to deny funding for projects in the first place.
Still good that Kickstarter is bringing the issue to light though.
I was very dissapointed by how vomparatively normal Mixtape was. It's well put together, feels.like it has true passion put into it, and isn't overtly degenerate. You have to look into it pretty hard to find the trouble.
Sometimes even if you can feel the creators’ politics through the screen, just the combination of the right vibe and like you say, the music, can make something more than halfway decent. It’s like Telltale Games with the first Walking Dead and to some degree The Wolf Among Us. The Wolf Among Us has a cool soundtrack and good voice acting. Not masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination, but just hits a certain spot, especially if you’re not too old when first playing them. Also not a coincidence that my two examples were from right before the time where things got very hamfisted in terms of politics, the longer into the Walking Dead game series you go, the cheesier it gets, including one season where it’s about a Latin US family that do the thing that annoys everyone of speaking normal English, but overly pronouncing random Spanish words in the middle of it all.
You can compare it to enjoyable slop TV like The Walking Dead and how over the top and bad new characters became around 2014. Overtly reddit.
Add a “Reported by” to any post that gets reported when no action is taken. To discourage people from reporting posts for the same thing, and to shame people for reporting things unnecessarily. A Community Notes feature for Intent instead of Context.

Why does Josh not stream on Odysee anymore? If it isn't much work can you stream there again? Rumble gives me multi-minute long crazy boomer ads and I've not found any way to block them on iOS (Brave doesn't stop them), and Kick randomly stops playing when in the background on my phone.

I'm not sure PPP is reading the scene right, Bronson Pinchot was an actor known for portraying vaguely ethnic eastern europeans as a stereotype. His whole schtick was being as weird as possible as a white foreigner without the character being something actually ethnic like an Indian or chink. It was safe anti-semitism(because he was trying to appear Israeli) for laughs.
It's actually a huge time commitment to not only watch the movies, but then perform the necessary editing for 10-30 minutes of content. They would make the money with existing fanbase, but they're both fat, lazy fucks who don't want to.
