"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Good stream, Josh cracking up at remembering Ralph and crew was great. Also glad that he reminded me of Visitor Q, Miike Takashi sure made some wacky flicks.

Apparently yesterday's steam had 3x more live viewers than normal. I'm going to go ahead and assume that
Detective Senior Sergeant John Michael and co. were watching. Gradually, little by little, they will be converted to the rhythm of shitposting.

Comfy blackpill stream was comfy. I've never played SS13 before but that was a powerfully contagious release of autism and it looks like a blast. A KF server could be awesome.

That ending song though holy shit I wasn't ready.

RE: Sites blocked in Australia, I noticed that there are three Italian websites and that shit made me cackle:

- finanzaonline.it (redirects automatically to finanzaonline.com, don't know why) is, as you can imagine by the name, a website about finance, both domestic and international.

- this is the one that baffled me the most: rainews.it. Rai is the Italian equivalent to the BBC, it's basically the national broadcasting company news website.

- ilfoglio.it is a shitty right-wing newspaper, hardly relevant to be honest. The guy that founded it, Giuliano Ferrara, was close to Berlusconi, is against homosexuality, abortion etc.

The only explanation I have as to why the Australian authorities would block these websites would be that they published in some form the video of the livestream, but I highly doubt that Rai or Finanzaonline would do it.

I thought we were friends Australia!!! Damn you!!!

I'm 99% sure there was no Australian order for ISPs to block websites. I just think it was a "recommendation" from the AUS government that some ISPs blindly followed. The ISP I'm using didn't block anything and have said in the past they will not block websites without a government order. A similar thing happened a few years ago where the major ISPs blocked popular torrent websites.

I only just noticed that Optus blocked archive.is (that's a weird word filter)

A kf space station 13 server would be pretty fun. I've been wanting to get into that game again.

I think it is absolutely disgusting that the PM of New Zealand is parading around wearing a fucking hijab. Fuck that stupid bitch. That is like waiving the fucking surrender flag to the people that have taken over your country. That bitch should be hanged.

I had this thought for a while about how it would be possible to have call-ins while still have them be entertaining. Perhaps having a gaming stream with the folks from the forum on Discord/Teamspeak/Skype/AOL could be the best way to do this sort of thing. Pros include:

  1. Gives Josh something to show people who're watching the stream if some outside forces prevent him to prepare a Mad at the Internet topic.
  2. Ad-libbing can provide various amounts of hilarity.
  3. Gives people who are hesitant to join the forums for whatever reason a way to join in on the fun.
  4. Might still provide a discussion on lolcows, communities, etc., albeit rather short, considering the format.

Seeing that during last stream people were asking for Space Station 13 a lot, this might be the ideal place to start. I also remember Josh mentioned once that he tried streaming Don't Starve, but it wasn't all that interesting since people had to give him directions all the time, but Don't Starve Together might be better suited for streaming. Get a server with 20+ players and have a PvP Battle Royale, or ruins rush with WX-78 while fighting for every single gear from clockworks, etc. There might be some possibilities here.

Entire comment was meant to go in the Metokur thread. Sorry about the edit; too many tabs.

To be topical- any chance for a run and hide sim instead of a walking sim for Mad At The Internet? Even if it's just for Halloween, seeing @Null talk shit to a horror game instead of basic PNW lesbitches would light up my life.

Fighting the powers that be is tough work apparently, who would have thought that New Zealand would try to go full black out on a shooting. It happens every week here, and we play it live on the news if possible, it's truly American to watch graphic violence on TV, just no nudity and bad language please.

Maybe in the future, a lot of people don't like it though but a lot of said people are the IBS crowd who are most likely gone by now.
