"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Hey @Null this might be autistic AF but I'm a big fan of the music of Mad at the Internet. the coziness of 'Wallpaper' included... SS orkestra maybe not so much maybe... maybe.

But I'd so be down for a playlist or some such for MATI vibes. You've introduced me to some good stuff - I get to see K Flay in my home town in a few weeks :semperfidelis:

I mean this isn't really a request, I can collate that shit on my own obviously. But didn't want it to seem totally sycophantic 'dear erverlord I luv ur mix tapez'. But your taste is good champ.

If you want a short summary, the gist is that the servers hosting Encyclopedia Dramatica, Kiwi Farms Matrix server, and the router(s) providing 1776hosting's Internet services got their plugs quite literally pulled and are being physically evicted out of the data center they're currently being hosted in, with the justification being that a specific site violated their AUP. What site it is was not yet explained, but I suppose it's pretty clear which one. The decision came from a parent company of the subsidiary company that provides the services to 1776hosting. It's possible that the decision was taken due to to some sort of legal threat. Shipping the servers to a different place will likely take at least a week, so you better be patient.

Kiwi Farms is still up because the site isn't a part of that data center, so we're looking dandy for now. Hopefully the trend continues.

Null will probably make a write-up on the situation, so keep your eyes open for a thread in Forum Discussion.

:optimistic: Also, if you know somebody who would be willing to invest in Kiwi Farms and buy Null some land to make his own data hosting center, then feel free to message him. :optimistic:

Edit: I suppose we'll have to wait until the whole situation is settled for a write-up.

Any updates?

Does anyone know what the music was in the new stream when he was showing where Mumkey put a ring on that crazy bitch? It sounded familiar and it's bothering me.

I really like this old format of focusing heavily on one cow for the duration of a stream. I know it probably requires more effort than the 'weekly review' style streams (and also requires @Null to have a legitimate interest in the person the stream is about) but I think the overall quality is better.

For the record, I'm not a fan of Mumkey. You say numerous times throughout the video not to feel sorry for him, but after that ending it's pretty hard not to. Great coverage of the situation, btw.
