I ve been trying to write a post in the GUNT forum about faith vickers and the aspect of how she hid in her room on discord isolated and miserable.

I ve also interacted with a friends sister who did something similar, I mean the holding up in her room watching netflixs.

The internet is a very poor pancea for being board and so is porn.

I know older men who have gotten burned so bad in divorce or relationships they will just casually date.

being termally online playing vidya with your boys is honestly a poor substitution for a social network.

Yet people still find themselves partners.

As much as I like excluding homosexuals and trannies (rimshot), they are a small percentage. Excluding them does make for cleaner data, but doesn't really have that much of an impact.

Maybe (you) specifically don't want to do anything, but people abuse their freedom by subverting the society. Both communists and libertarians have double teamed western civilisation. First, the libertarians come in and advocate for freedom (gays must be allowed to do X) then the socialists come in with their maternal instinct to protect marginalised groups and impose their order (it must be illegal to insult gays). In this way libertarianism has made itself the handmaiden to socialism. Opening the door that socialism walks through.

The best solution to this is to create a country to deport all the libertarians to and the world must sign a pact of non-interference with them for the good of all civilised peoples. But we should never sacrifice our countries to accommodate some mavericks who want to subvert and destroy our way of life.

I see everyone saying this and I must say: the left legitimately doesn't want to take away your free speech, they want you gone. Unlike the right, who would censor you and be done with it, the left is very maternal. The gays, trans, women, minorities etc. are their children, you are the threat. Like a mother grizzly protecting her cubs, the left, when they have the power, will not hesitate to kill you because they think you legitimately want to genocide their children.

The left and the right are different in how they "censor." Don't think you're fighting against the Christian evangelical crowd. There is a true right wing case for censorship and it is right.

I think pornography is only a small part of the rising tide of asocialness. It's a placebo for base sexual stimulus, but not a relationship. It's the internet's ability to give people extremely robust parasocial relationships with streamers, be that as pseudo friends or pseudo girlfriends, and the way it allows them to seek distant like minded friends through chat rooms instead of learning to befriend and relate to those around them is ultimately more detrimental. Pornography definitely causes an unhealthy warping of sexuality, but I think people resort to heavy pornography abuse AFTER becoming a social recluse who relies on internet friends and internet parasocial friends.

I think our philosophy session here may have the cart a mile ahead of the horse. Looks to me like @Canine with Fangs is really on to something with the idea that the porn addiction usually comes after the social reclusion, but I think what is really killing kids is that they have essentially zero unsupervised play time with other kids. That's where they learn how to actually interact with other people and not be retards. Things were bad ennough when I was a kid In the late 80s & early 90s, with the satanic panic shit and the milk carton kids, but from what I can tell helicopter parenting and never letting your kid be alone with their thought or really learn how to interact has only gotten worse. By the time kids are in early elementary school they're already socially retarded and the only place they get to interact with their friends outside school is on minecraft and roblox

Take stupid play ground drama and blow it up. Like say a 5th grade girl deciding she doesnt like one of her classmates and blocks her on what ever social ap they are on together.

In the good old days you would just be polite and avoid someone for what ever reason. But blocking can be read as a opening slavo for retarded shit.

I once had a talk with a niece about this stuff she was soo proud about her "blocking game" I ve also watch a young cousin learn the hard way the people will dig up tweets from the 10th grade and use them to roast you.

finally I witnessed back in the early 00's a friends little brother get 400 plus pounds because he tore his ACL (which means he couldnt go pro) and he retreated into the dream of being a pro counter strike player.

I found some stupid article a year or so ago the explained that games give children some basic needs like the ability to explore learn and master a system on their terms, ad in a social component and it makes being locked in a room possible.

which honestly I think alot parents dont mind cause it means they dont have to deal with their children.

If you try to sum it up with one universal theory, you'll be wrong. I don't believe hypergamy is as common as porn, media (shows like the Jersey Shore), and other people try to make it out to be. Most people I talk to (men and women) have a few long term relationships by the time they're 30 and not many do one night stands at all. Only in very rare cases do I hear of people with a huge number of partners, and they're usually gay/trans.


Your chart shows that sexlessness is on the rise and I still believe that this boils down to the availability of pornography because men lead, women follow.

Why dismiss the hypergamy? I have no love for MGTOW I actually find them pathetic when they claim to "go their own way" then post the same stories about how women are bad, and how you need to subscribe or becoem a patron to support them validating your beliefs.
BUT I still remember reagin how women rated men on tinder, much lower than average where men were more fair. I also know from anecdotal evidence that women have more options. I know multiple cases of guys going after single mothers, never the reverse. I also know multiple cases of guys who are relatively fit, not overweight but not jacked. Their partners are morbidly obese. Still not seen the reverse. I 100% believe women have far more options than men and they don't need to put in the effort. I go to the gym and it's 99% male.

Relationships are just a minefield
1) You probably want to have your own place for privcy and not live with family, kinda tough with the economy. Some people find ways, some dont.
2) Tinder opens up bigger dating pools, meaning other guys just won't compete. It's also pretty much entirely about looks with the app, humour won't save you.
3) Some guys may legit be terrified of rape accusations, I think Metoo killed the pickup artist movement, now RooshV is larping as an orthodox guy who wants a virgin waifu.

Looking at the charts you see an increase from 2007, so I think the economic crash of 2008 and the rise of social media are what fucked up men. Videogames play a factor too, you can't really get laid if you never leave home. The only way porn could factor im is is if it makes guys avoid relationships becuase their dick isn't the size of a pornstars.

What about the continuously satiated sex drive? The insane expectations porn gives even people who conciously know porn isn't real? The wrong mindset about how sex is and what it's like to experience another's body when you already partly have online prior to any sexual encounter?
