As title says, I made chili and posted it to the group. Like it extra spicy with a good kick. Been getting a lot of rain so felt like it was a good day for it.

My recipe:

whole onion, cut finely
Whole clove of garlic, crushed (keeps the vampires away)
Two whole jalapeño peppers, cut finely
One habanero pepper (like I said, I like it spicy)

take those ingredients and add salt pepper and olive oil, onto a frying pan cook until soft, then added diced tomatoes and cook that a little longer. Then that’s done, put it in your soup pot

I cheat here when I start to cook ground beef and add chili seasoning like I’m making taco meat.

toss the meat on top of the veggies you just cooked. Add two cans of red kidney beans Then add one bottle of Mexican beer, tomato juice, tomato paste to thicken it up and maybe a little beef or chicken broth

stir everything and add another packet of chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper

stir until boiling and you’re good.

whatcha think?

Couple of suggestions,
1. Toast your peppers before hand and remove the skins.
2.Chop up your peppers, garlic and onions into a chunky salsa type substance and brown that in olive oil.
3. Brown your beef (no chili powder), drain and then cook in the beer.
Do everything else you do.
