Idk I think from a purely technical perspective it's pretty cool. I'm not a professional seamstress but I've done some cosplay faggotry-related sewing, and an outfit like that is a lot more complicated to construct than you might think. You would have to make sure the fitting and measurements are exact. I'm sure whoever made it worked their ass off

Madge still looks like she crawled out of a morgue, and should return her stolen children.

Madonna postpones tour after going into intensive care

The music icon developed a "serious bacterial infection" on Saturday, 24 June, which led to her being admitted to an intensive care unit, her talent manager said - adding that she is expected to make a "full recovery".

Madonna has postponed her tour after falling ill and staying several days in intensive care.

A statement from her talent manager Guy Oseary said: "On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU.

"Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.

"At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."
 
For once I'm not going to snark. As much as bitching about Madonna is huge fun even for us die-hard fans, this sounds serious and unpleasant. I wonder about a cosmetic surgery mishap too. We'll see, and speculate in the meantime.

Honestly I wonder if it's not just from over-exerting herself. For every criticism you could make of Madonna, she works insanely hard at staying fit (it's why her hands are so scary) and a woman in her mid-60s (but in denial) doing a punishing gym routine and ambitious dance rehearsals every day could very easily injure herself quite badly.
 
Well, she loves her troons so could be a licking that went bad...

But yeah plenty of healthy 64 year women out there, the ones that end up in an ICU are the ones who don't accept they are 64.

Very true, but I would expect mainly a physical injury. A bacterial infection would suggest at best being run down from overwork (and surely she must be getting vitamin shots, etc?), this sounds like being far more serious. I wonder if she's csught something from whichever skank loser money grabber she's currently seeing?

I'm dubious to believe it's a bacterial infection, purely because this must be coming from Madonna's PR team. They're far more likely to reference a mysterious bacterial infection than say "yeah lol she tore a ligament while trying to do the splits and then twisted her ankle trying to walk it off in stripper heels".

Yes, but I don't think tearing a ligament and twisting her ankle would put her in ICU. The ICU is where they put you when you are trying very hard to die and and they'd rather you didn't. If she's in there, her doctors are battling the Reaper for her soul.

It's probably MRSA, a serious bacterial infection that can be brought on by way too much cosmetic surgery.

Imma guess one of her ass implants is rejecting and eroding through her skin. Not being extra with this; I genuinely think that's what's happening. Bacteria traveling through the blood can colonize the surface of an implant inside the scar capsule that keeps it in place. Your body can't efficiently heal an infection like this because there's not great circulation through scar and will instead let the foreign object rot through to the outside. Sprinkle sprinkle!
 
Straight-up overdose and she ended up unresponsive. Guy Oseary had to scramble and put out something before the NY Post reported on it--typical PR spin. "Exhaustion" and "Lyme disease" are passe, transparent, no longer used because everyone knows what they are code for.

"Bacterial infection" is reasonable and garners sympathy. Meanwhile, Madonna has basically been marching around with a placard saying I AM ON OPIATES AND BOOZE for years now.

Unfortunately, Prince had a similar thing happen. He ended up in the hospital due to an overdose of fentanyl, his people spun it as something else (can't recall), and then a few days later he OD'd for real and died. It all starts as pain due to years of dancing, then some pain pills to help, and escalates to a few Dr. Feelgoods who will administer IV drips of their drugs of choice.

I hope I'm wrong. But Madonna has been lost in addiction for years now.
