Most of the comments were saying that the show started at 11pm and there were no kids. So who knows? But yeah I just posted it cause she looks so desperate and retarded.

I think that pic is maybe 5+ years ago or so. It’s not recent at any rate. I’m not defending her, I was just saying that people often go thru phases where they are freaking out about aging and get work done or act out, but then come to some kind of acceptance or (perhaps more commonly) just stop giving a fuck. But yes given her cringe stage antics etc it appears she’s still obsessed with being sexy and displaying desirability or whatever.

So I agree, she’s not accepted anything.

She’s trying to outdo Taylor Swift, but that’s why the show was free. Brazilians paid to see TS. Im sure Madonna would have sold tickets, but not as many as TS. This was Madonna’s way of trying to top Taylor, but she had to make it free to be bigger than TS.

Free shows of draw much, much bigger crowds than paid ticket shows. There are free concert series put on in cities across the country. Bands that can’t draw 30 people paying customers to a bar will have thousands attending a free outdoor venue. I stopped going free concerts in my city because they draw every undesirable for forty miles. Only the symphony seems to keep out the hoards of riff-raff, but any one hit wonder, cover band or famous for ten minutes ten years ago is like an anthill of unwashed humans.

The entire slums of Rio would have emptied out for a free Madonna concert, plus every homosexual in 300 miles. It would be similar to Dr Dre or Drake offering a free concert somewhere in Los Angeles.

Washed up American artists tend to have a solid fanbase here in Brazil because most of our contemporary media always have been a dollar store version of American media.

There's a channel here (TV Cultura) that used to air videoclips of Brazilian musicians but they never had much of an audience specially after MTV came to Brazil in the 90s. I suppose their audience only peaked when they would air Ramones or some other foreign artist.

When Madonna became overplayed in America and started to decline in popularity she was still making success here as if she wasn't yesterday's news.
