Unless they're doing this to update the series with new information and discoveries they should just host the originals. Everything in the trailer looks like something the old show did 30 years ago.

To be honest, I'd even rather have really shitty CGI animation than whatever lazy-ass flash program they're using. At least then the wonkiness of it would provide a good laugh or two a la Foodfight. You can't do diddly-dick with cheap flash. It's boring and lifeless.

As much as nothing is changing the fact that Castlevania and Voltron are still the only 2 good cartoons to come out of Netflix as of late... Yeah. THIS.
This right here is a good idea, in terms of the target audience especially, but also in terms of the only reason to really even do any of this. Most of the old cartoon's info is either dated and/or has likely been proven false by now; that's about the only real reason to do something like this.
Too bad this is a clear-as-day cash grab, just from how it looks and moves.

so it's out on netflix now, and although i havent seen it yet, i've read a few reviews on it on netflix and outside of it. most of the reviews i saw said it was okay. most likely, it's better than most people expected, but that's just it: it's better than they expected. i guess a common rating i saw people give it was between 6 and 7, so take that however you want to perceive it.

Phoebe got replaced by some character named Jyoti. I guess you could argue that they removed the white girl and replaced her with a minority, but that's really about it in terms of SJW-ness.
And even that's somewhat of a stretch.

Being nothing special is probably the worst something could be. At least if this show were a total trainwreck that would give you some reason to ever watch it. There's no reason to when it's just some flash animation schlock for kids who are too young to have any taste.
