It was cancer, straight delusional cancer. "I want to play the game, make it more inclusive guys!" You can play. No one is preventing you from entry. "I don't just want to play, I want to win and have your respect!" Well you're playing like shit, here's tips on how to do better. "I don't want all this unsolicited advice or questions!" OK, we'll stop talking to you unless we're actively playing. "No no, I want to be a part of this community! I want to be welcomed!" I tried talking to you, but you were triggered by small talk. We're keeping our distance because we don't want you to accuse us of harassment and get us ejected/sanctioned from events. "I'm being discriminated and micro-aggressed!" Enjoy my cold sh0ulder, thot. You earned it.
Magic and competitive Magic is a type A personality game for two or more players to clash strategies together. You are consistently tested in repetitive actions in a math battle with choices. Most women aren't into this shit. You couldn't pay women to get into this shit(and they effectively are; if a woman wanted an easy-in to twitch viewers and a donator fanbase, this is an incredibly easy vector). They either are or aren't, and if they are, they can't be coddled because the game and environment don't allow for it. Most guys are fucking bullied when learning to play Magic, not by the players but by chads in school walking by and seeing their gay fairy & mermaid cards.
I'm only remaining sane by chuckling endlessly at the Sisyphean struggle of these SJWs to shoehorn women into an activity you literally can't pay them into. Women en masse will never break into high-tier Magic, or e-sports, or chess because they would fundamentally stop being women. One or two outliers would be tolerated, nay welcome, but you'll never get the 54% representation you're seeking because women only compete for dicks, not with them. This is why they're trying to change videogames into gay feelings-filled walking simulators, because that's something they can do that's video games related. Next you're going to see some twist of a format become popular where winning doesn't matter somehow, because that's the only way Magic will ever appeal to women. Women don't give a fuck about winning. Men are wired to.
