Anyone else retarded enough to be playing Modern still?
Ugin, Eye of the Storms feels like a nice replacement for Karn Liberated (RIP) and Ugin the Spirit Dragon in Tron, but I think there might still be an argument for running one Karn for mirrors and against Eldrazi Ramp.

If he gets a card and gets into the arcadian raid like I'm suspecting in XIV, I'll be one of the few humans alive with enough autism to explain a piece of cardboard. They just need to bleed Kenny Omega and Final Fantasy into the MTG lore and I can try to explain why him hitting Elspeth with a V-Trigger inside the crystal tower is very important for the multiverse, the Fourteen, and for the AEW Championship.

Steal your shit decks are cool and fun and great even with randos (people get salty and insta concede if you so much as glance at their decks sometimes so it's extra funny) but PLEASE for the love of all that is holy, know how to play magic the fucking gathering if you wanna run a steal your shit deck, I understand I might be running cards you haven't seen in a while but I promise you that stopping to read my naturalize for 2 whole minutes isn't fun for anyone. This is the real tilting thing about heist decks, the fact they take 8 fucking years to play a turn because they have to retardedly look at the board, at their board, at the top of my library... and then again and again and again like the text on any of the cards is gonna change. I'm getting mad just thinking about this.

That is cause they are bad at the game, when I play my Theft deck 99% of the time the choice is "I will just grab a removal or a draw spell" Like if you are running Gonti, Lord of Luxury in the command zone..unless there is an absolute bomb in the 4 cards..snap take that naturalize cause you are running mono black and the artifact/enchantment removal is the highest upside.

So we recently added some new people to our Commander group and there was one player who was obviously quite new to Commander that asked what tier we play at at the table and we told him that we don't do that nonsense and that he could play whatever he wanted. There was a visible look in his eyes of relief as he didn't want to keep track of that stuff. This doesn't seem to be what WotC had in mind.

I despise the entire "Rule Zero Conversation" bullshit.

I have come to absolutely hate that "Everyone has to do their thing" and "Winning is bad" has become a normal thing in EDH. Sure it's a Social format but like..it's still a game. You should still be trying to win.
