I have discovered MTGForge, and I'm digging how this reimagining of the shandalar experience plays. I'm living my best life, discarding Griselbrand to hand size and casting animate dead on turn three. I'm full on monoblack ramping into Emrakul. I'm honestly thinking of uninstalling arena lmao.

I've said before that I'd love a Lightbringer UB if only to see how they try to spread the colors in the limited pallet magic has, But I'd also love to see a trek UB of some kind if I didn't think WOTC would fuck it up.

Rekeita, despite his drug use, doesn't strike me as Rakdos. He seems more Orzhov or Azorius rules lawyer-ey.
I know Azorius doesn't make sense at first but remember that Dovin was on Bolas's side during WAR so UW is definitely capable of evil and corruption

We'll do versions of Rekeita. Azorius lawtube version and then druggie swinging Rakdos version and if there's space - Orzhov post-conviction version.

Just make it a flip card. Azorious makes you treasures unless your opponent pays a tax, when you have 10 or more treasure he flips. Backside lets you sack treasures to firebreathing, and when you have no treasures you take damage at upkeep.

Orzhov card can’t attack or block, is a 0/1, and it has to be the target of spells your opponents cast that target something. When it dies, you gain life equal to the amount of mana your opponent spent on the spell that destroyed it.

i fuckin hate monarch-style mechanics

they work fine in a 4-player game, but in a 2-player game whoever gets to activate it first, is gonna get so much value that it basically wins the game by itself

in general mechanics made for commander absolutely break 2-player non-singleton formats

I know they never will but now I wish they would. Heck the blood token effect would be more appropriate for drugs anyway.

Tell me about it. i've been helping a friend with his card game and he's wanting to do multiplayer and duel focused sets and trying to get them to line up is driving him nuts.

KAMEN RIDER KAMEN RIDER I am massively autistic for karate bugmen so I want to have Minami Shotaro as my commander. Funnily enough this same question was asked in my LGS a couple days ago and the resounding answer was "ehh, probably star wars", bunch of normies I swear.
