I mean the only real issue with lotus will be if its just an auto include in every deck like sol ring

but unlike sol ring its not printed into oblivion to depreciate its cost.

youd hate to see it if its pretty much an auto include but costs 50 bucks

really it just doesnt add anything to the format,

its fine then

though any smooth brain who pays the 120 dollar pre order price deserves to be scalped anyways
Like I said originally there is a definite power delta in this card and seeing as it is in a supplemental set it is probably going to sit in the triple digits at minimum. I have an EDH deck for every color combo and this goes in about 3/4th of them automatically, not because it has synergy..but because the possibility of a turn 1-2 commander drop is a little too hard to ignore.

This in the opening hand with 2 fetches in my windgrace deck (which runs all the fetches it can) will be an effective 2 mana Explosive Vegetation at minimum..That is going to lead to some Non-game games.

The game is Commander, for fucks sake, not Archenemy!

(Which is what brings balance to everything. Jeweled Lotus, Opposition Agent, everything.)

I don't care that I'm double posting.

Broke: Jeweled Lotus is broken!
Woke: Opposition Agent is broken!
Bespoke: HULLBREACHER IS BROKEN!!!!!!!

MTG's first tranny planeswalker.

RIP Magic.

So... it's a man who became a woman to compete and win majorly in athletics? How topical...

Now I wonder if this reveal explains this statement.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=tVB2AF_Yx-UThey were trying to get ahead of the controversy.
The color scheme is even pastel blues, pinks and whites. Aka the tranny flag. Absolutely shameless pandering.

True, but that one you can’t tell unless you know the retarded lore behind it or whatever.
Also you did specify "planeswalker" in your post, which Alesha isn't.

BTW:

It’s no surprise that they’d do this, last year they made the queen of the plane of eldraine a black woman. It’s more empty pandering except this time it’s to a demographic that’s pushing women out of the community and demanding special treatment.

It’s why things like the old heartbreaker miniatures are so cool to me, especially when compared to the crappy NECA wizkids miniatures they make for the DnD crossovers. https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Heartbreaker_miniatures

the art went from fantasy art that caught and evoked the imagination (especially the art from between 1997-2003) to being mostly low effort and a lot of artists looking the same or indistinguishable.

Which is why I stopped paying attention to the story. You could instantly tell who was going to win/lose by demographic.

It’s really telling of the community when people get excited for a shitty troon character.

I just noticed something looking at the 2 newbies...

When was the last time the game introduced an "evil" planeswalker?

Dovin might be the closest, and he was introduced (story-wise) in Kaladesh. Nahiri might be considered evil nowadays but she was originally a good guy and hinted at back in Zendikar. She was technically fully introduced in commander 2014.
