I played it a jillion years ago. It was fun then, but I don't really have the time and effort to do it like then. I keep the ancient Win98PC game around. It's good for scratching my occasional itch to play.

I recently got back into it,I haven't played in it a long time and I feel SO old because I'm confused on coming back to it to play.

I play a lot.

Going to the prerelease of Oath of the Gatewatch this weekend.

they banned splinter twin and summer bloom in modern :(. I now have to put GoST back in my uwr deck.

I got the "Hit The Ground Running" starter pack so im gonna have to get back into the swing of things,Got a good rare out of the pack and i found some cards i had since 1997.

Played it back in junior high and didn't bother playing it again until the Kamigawa series came out. I know this might be weebish, but I really liked that series. Ninjas kick ass.

Other than that I wound up giving away nearly all my cards to a friend. Though I do have a binder of hand picked legends and golds that I've held onto. I usually give those away on my friends birthdays.

I haven't had time to play for a while, what with classes, but I have an embarrassing amount of Modern decks. Affinity and Death and Taxes are both fun and pretty good in the current meta. Wish I lived around places that played Legacy, though, I haven't used my Dredge deck in ages.

Also WotC better not fuck up the return to Innistrad set like they fucked up the return to Zendikar set. Not only were both sets bland and uninteresting, with mechanics that didn't mesh across either set, but now Modern is even more bland than it was a year ago. At least Aristocrats is a thing in Standard, I guess; thank goodness for small favors.

I agree, Innistrad needs to be good. We need it to be more than vampires/zombies/werewolves with this throw away mechanics that no one will use this time next year.

With that said, I was totally suckered into buying singles from Zenidakar. I like devoid because color locking made the Eldrazi more mana efficient, it seems at least, while benefiting from colorless buffs. Mostly though, I just like Eldrazi.

Edit for typo.

Not played since...whichever one was after Kamigawa.

I could get into it, if there were anyone to play with.

God help you if this is the judge called over to your table. I wish this game didn't draw cows, it has enough problems as is. I will say that is one of the better written things that didn't happen I've read from a gender special in a while.

magic the gathering is the biggest cow magnet ever.
yesterday i was at the kaladesh prerelease also present were a guy who looked like chris chan 2007-2009
our regional judge who looks like christine. (this time as player)
The hole thing was judged by our local judge who is autistic af.

True, a shame since the game itself is fun. The only thing is I find more loveshy types at my LGS, though it could be the area I'm in.

Played socially from twilight of Revised/Unlimited through Mirage, often times for ante with 40 deck minimums and no limits on how many of the same card could be in a deck.

The unrest from the release of Force of Will in my playgroup at the time almost severed childhood friendships.

i gave up actively looking for friends in the game at my lgs. i mainly go there to play competitively.

I know a lot of people in my friend circle who are not loveshies. We sometimes meet up and play sealed deck or commander and its always fun.
computer softwares like cockatrice are fun too since they allow u to play for free anytime.
