Yeah, there are a lot of Commanders at 1 or 2 colors that are only OK because of how crippled they are by color identity. Tergrid players do not need access to the wheels in red and blue FOR EXAMPLE.
If you're playing Tergrid you may as well commit all of the war crimes. Edit: I'd pair Tergrid and Xythris or Tergrid and Nekusar.
Tergrid and Nekusar as partners wouldn't just be a War Crime, if you actually sleeve that combo up God will personally come down and smite your ass, though there has to be something equally Degenerate you can do with The Eminence Commanders and this rule.
I think Nekusar is the obvious one, but his strength is you can read his text box to someone and gaslight them into thinking you're a group hug deck. You can't do that with Tergrid in the command zone next to him, so you might as well go my boy Locust God or Niv-Mizzet, Parun since you're mask off- fuck symmetry.

The fact that there was a gay prom expansion and it wasn't a car crash is indicative of what Magic players are willing to put up with. I fully expect a future expansion to be RuPaul's Drag Race in Space or something, and the gimmick will be little stickers that resemble women's clothing that you put on your creatures to make them OP. I've never seen it in person but I've heard anecdotes where someone succeeds on their deception roll with "yeah I'm totally playing a grixis commander so everyone draws more cards and has more fun"
I was this person. I did this to my friends when they taught me to play magic and they all believed me because I was new. It took a few games before I was no longer allowed to play him without becoming archenemy immediately.

If you are just playing him wheel-less he's kind of just a hug/slug deck which is lower level threat then most other decks. The other two decks would have to be absolutely terrible to archenemy a legit slug Nekusar deck. Problem is every slug Nekusar player is fucking lying draw twenty cards and die idiot.

It is pretty gay. Basically you try to help everyone at the table draw cards and ramp mana so they do whatever their deck wants to do faster. Some people play that idea straight, and just concede when it's just them and one other deck because they aren't built to win and some people slot in some combos to win the game suddenly. Sometimes you can have no win condition and still be cancer that must die just from how overly helpful you are, like when one of my friends resolved a "when a player casts a spell they draw 7" enchantment when I was playing a Mizzix of the Izmagnus storm deck.
