Stickers and Attractions should never have been a thing in "Real" formats to begin with, Maro is a Faggot for forcing His Shitty Un-Crap on players so he could boost the sales and be like "NO STALKER CHILD UN SETS ARE ACTUALLY POPULAR!"

Silver Border was the best thing until MaRo decided to make it retarded
I think it was mostly due to the pressure from higher-ups. Bet they told him that it has to make more money than the last time. And with th amount of variant lands those ful-arts aren't that spechial anymore.

By more you mean "Actually make money" because every Unset until they forced it into Legacy and Commander were Financial Failures and the only reason it ever Comes back is because Maro is a faggot who thinks they are great.

decided to make it retarded
It was always retarded and UN-funny and has become less funny with every iteration.

I almost feel bad for finding the foil names sticker goblin in my bulk that I was prepping to send to CK, only to find out it’s banned now.

Each joke set has been less jokes and more pushing the envelope of what could be done for future sets, and I think that’s why they flop. Contraptions were overly confusing, and were made better by turning them into attractions.

I think the major problem is there’s no longer any in-community jokes that could be used to make an actual joke set. No one plays standard, so you can’t meme about archetypes or dumb events at big tournaments, and you can’t make jokes about universe beyond because you want to actually sell cards.

Anymore attempts at joke sets are doomed to fail, and Maro just won’t accept that, cause that would mean Goym knows better than him.

After This I bet we don't get any more Un-sets, its proven to be an utter failure Maro couldn't even tardwrangle himself enough to not make shitty stuff for Eternal Formats, eventually stickers and attractions will probably be soft banned in commander because people just don't wanna deal with them in the same way they don't wanna deal with it in Legacy and Vintage.

I can see stickers being soft banned, but attractions are going to be a big thing for Mr.House gamers like myself. Having access to rolls every turn AND artifact cards that aren’t tokens? They’re strong enough to have the staying power stickers don’t, and are less annoying to remember how to use than effects like the initiative and the ring tempts you.

Attractions for house will probably stick around for a while until you have enough dice rolling stuff to not need them.

the only good attraction payoff is that izzet chick.

Hatusune Miku's Secret Lair sold out in less than a day. That includes not only the individual drops, but each bundle containing her cards. They will likely be the only drops selling out this time, given how shitty and mom-ish the rest of the drops are.

Not surprising. Look at all the pricing for the anime alts of cards. Shit is wildly popular among the consoomers of the game

Initiative and Ring Tempts You don't require every person at the table bring 2 additional decks just in case they end up in ownership of one of the effects somehow, which is why they were always a terrible idea. I played commander with my crew a few weeks ago and the guy playing Mr. House didn't have any lack of cards related to the rolling of dice, creation of tokens, or destruction of tokens without having played a single attraction, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Secret Lairs are print on demand now, so they don't sell out they stop printing them. If they want to say they sell out then they are just being fake and gay for advertising purposes.

They seem to have tried that experiment because they didn't like that the Commander Rules Committee said no to un-sets, so they decide to force them into commander by printing them in eternal legal sets. This is dumb for a number of reasons:
  • Commander is already a very casual format. Sure you can play cEDH and have something in between Legacy and Vintage in power, but most commander players are just there for the social aspects and to run weird cards and mess around with unusual mechanics. Surely people interested in using un-set cards could just figure it out with their friends.
  • Commander is ultimately a format for WOTC's game. If they REALLY wanted to, they could just go over the rules committee's head and make official commander rules that include them. Of course, this would piss off the players on principle and you generally don't want to do that, but...
  • Commander players wanting a specific thing aren't too likely to appreciate you finding a backdoor way to force them to take said thing. You're already going over their heads by doing this, at this point you really might as well just declare them legal in commander and not in eternal.
It really does feel like something done because some higher up got upset that the commander playerbase rejected their idea to milk more money out of them.

Fuck the commander rules committee. Actual fucking plebeians.

The full art lands I will stand by are the Theros Constellation Lands.

There's no beating these in foil.

I'm a sucker for the New Capenna lands but I really like the art deco aesthetic. The one good thing about full art lands being ubiquitous now is that almost all of them are really pretty and they're available in tons of different styles for cheap.

Those would be great for a BioShock themed deck, and the proliferation of full art lands is the hugest hit in recent years.
