FFS how many of those is Magic going to have???
How many is Tezzeret going to need before he's an actual threat? Mr. Darksteel Planar portal arm. I, personally would have kept the etherium arm. Malleable metal that you can control with magic seems pretty handy.

To be fair he did not stick this one into his body as soon as he got it, dude is likely never gonna be a threat to the multiverse he kind of just wants to be left alone.

To be honest this was Tezzerets Ixalan, he was kinda groovy. There was a bit where he realized the Endstone was fucking with him because he knew it existed...but hadn't send his best artifact retrieval squad after it.

Then he realized that he did not have an artifact retrieval squad, which made no sense to him...and that made him realize he did have one, that he sent in to get the endstone and it vanished them.

So instead of his best people...he sent in his plucky down on their luck pair in a nearly broken down ship.

I almost started to like Tizzle

Decided to try and join a commander legaue in an LGS and then i read the rules and they had the most limiting and boring rules. Here are some examples:
>No extra turns of any kind
>No land Destruction of any kind
>No infinite loops of any kind
>No Locking out other people
>No taking control of other people turns
>No mill

This is my first time that i know that edh leagues are a thing and i wanted to try it out but i was met with bullshit restrictions. Mind you their bracket for entry is Bracket 4, so it isnt a casual setting where someone with a precon can just go. Is this a trend with edh leagues or is the LGS being retarded?

.....So in other words no actually playing the game.

Shit like this is why the only community events I go to are Pre-Releases.

There'll be so much degenerate shit with Toph not seen since Rule 34. Toph basically turns nontoken Artifacts into lands. Your Sol Ring is now a land, your rocks are now lands, and even Artifact creatures are now man lands. She also turns lands into 2/2 bodies with haste.

Toph will be the best landfall commander and it'll be foul.

Oh? You thought endless spoiler season was a meme?
I sorta figured they'd be trying to build hype for their Marvel slop set, since that's what's next on the release schedule, but I guess the initial reception was one of thunderous apathy so now they're panicking and trying to hype us for the set after that.

Or something. I don't know. I'm not buying any of this shit anyway, so I don't particularly care. I'm just surprised they're previewing so many cards so far out - what next, 10% of Lorwyn gets dropped before Halloween?

I assume they wanted infinite hype train. Interest online about MtG use to massively spike around spoiler season, so I guess they figured endless spoilers would keep interest high always. A well thought out idea by some limp wristed marketing manager, I presume. You may jest about Lorwyn spoilers before the end of the year, but I doubt Wizards is.

Holy mother of god! Spiderkike collector boxers are already over $900, It still isn't out for another 2 months. Hasn't it always been cheaper to just buy the cards you need? I don't think i've ever pulled anything from boosters. I hope everyone that pays $900+ for a spiderkike box gets nothing from their pulls.

Why the heck is waterbending a cost reduction when all the other 3 is just "Do X"
All that different bending effects while there's still so much more going on in the set...

Man it's making me miss blocks.

Why they just didn't make all of the bending effects "add X [color] mana to your pool"?

What's funny is when I was chilling with some friends, I hypothesized that "bending" would be like a vertical convoke. Tap a creature to pay X for a mana cost (where X is their bending value).

No no. That's too logical. Instead we've got to try and remember that Fire adds mana, Water cheats on costs, Earth animates lands?, and Air does a convoluted blink effect. (Hope you don't have plotting or forecasting or suspend with your airbending deck. Don't get all your exiles mixed up.)

I'm just so... tired guys. I'm literally having more fun playing any other card game.

I been teasing the idea of starting Arena back up again but I can't be bothered to be forced to play with these cross IP cards. I already had enough autistic self-imposed restrictions on what cards I'd let myself play with but I don't think I can manage blacklisting entire sets because they're fucking gay.

Its all so tiresome.

I'm curious about the color breakdown of the Avatar set is going to be. Like are the mono black cards just going to be fire benders and villains because it will just be weird seeing people who use fire not have red.

I can't wait to see the in universe Spider-Man cards because they can't use Marvel characters for arena.

I imagine that stupid face stealer spirit will be black, and the evil water benders from Korra
