That's rather like saying, "Black Lotus isn't really busted but the things you do with 3 mana..."

Or "Ancestral Recall isn't busted, it's the cards you draw with it..."

"The busted things come from the dragons and demons and angels you put on the battlefield with Khalia..."

Hell even panharmonicon isn't "busted" per your statement just now - it's the other cards you play. At some point you need to sober up, you've drunk yourself retarded.

(It was funny that one of the other players trying her out had completely failed to notice the "gives copy haste" text on Ashling and was just having fun abusing the double triggers. When he saw me start swinging and tapping with the copies, his mind got blown. lol)
All the things you named are like 4 card combos. Honestly if you are doing a 4 card combo with Risen Reef I am probably glad you only Drew 16 and got 6 lands on the battlefield because Twinflame + Risen Reef makes a Zendikar's Roil "Draw your entire deck, make infinite 2/2s and spew all your lands onto the battlefield

And yes even the power nine on their own really don't do anything all that impressive sometimes, There is a reason that "I am casting Timewalk to explore" is a joke that happens when you cast a timewalk out of desperation because you don't have much going on.

Seething commie scum will continue to pay the 1 until they learn about removal.
Do you stop being commie scum if you learn about removal?

Timetwister isn't even that bad on its own. Once you remove all of the 0 mana spells and wheels from the power nine, wheel of fortune is actually more of a problem.

It makes you less of a bitch.

On another note, is Biorhythm even viable in today's EDH environment?
Was it ever? I can't imagine a sorcery-speed 8-mana spell being that much of a threat on anything other than the casualest of tables.
There are ways like Boseju and Veil of summer that you can use to force it through but its a pretty safe Unban, it's really no different than Coalition Victory.

I have gotten so many kills with Shaman of Forgotten Ways in my Maelstrom Wanderer deck (hence my lust for Prime Time).

In a truly competitive game, probably not. It made sense to unban.

So ive finally been soft banned or rather i cant play mill in the weekly edh league my local lgs has. To make story short:

I always play mill in the league, different commanders, same mill. Apparently people complained enough that milling as a win con is no longer accepted and it is restricted. Mind you i dont run tutors nor the very oppresive shit like bruvac, tree of perdition, mill half effects, etc. If i arrive at my combo, is because they let me. Mind you i always play the same strat so they should be able to just hard counter me, yet instead of doing that they went to the owner to complain. Im not even mad at the owner(hes a cool dude) and is not like he banned me from playing, still is bullshit. Lastly the league is "bracket 3"

Personally the whole bracket shit annd the rule zero conversation has turned players into bigger pussies.

Time to build Captain N'ghathrod Horror Tribal.

Or Flip Sheoldred with breach the Multiverse.

Funny enough this was my alternative just build cap niggathrod and go brrr with horrors. Although i gotta sit down to learn about Horrors in mtg.

Any suggestions kiwis?

Biorhythm's relevance died when Craterhoof Behemoth was printed. In almost every situation where you'd consider casting BR, The Hoof accomplishes just as much or more, but the fail case of The Hoof is that it's a 5/5 and the fail case of BR is that you never cast it because you'd die if you did.

Personally I think they could have unbanned Sway of the Stars too, but maybe they're saving it as the next "gentle underhand pitch" unban when they decide they want to build some goodwill with the community.

Upheaval, Rofellos/Leovold, or Jeweled Lotus

Upheaval is a 1 Mana less Cyc Rift, if Cyc Rift could be a game changer then it should most likely be a game changer.

Rofellos would probably be banned still but I could see him being unbanned at some point before getting banned later on.

Leovold perhaps will be impossible but considering that Nadu once existed and got banned I could see him getting a second look.

Jeweled Lotus isn't going to be unbanned to punish the 'chuds' who threatened the old committee but I'm going to be real it'll be a game changer within 5-10 years give or take.

This is the gayest yet most believable reason. I honestly think it will be unbanned because of the money making opportunities they are leaving on the table by being booty-tickled over fake threats.

I'm just hoping one day Emrakul is unbanned, my Eldrazi deck feels incomplete otherwise.

Absolutely not. If you've played against this card in cube, you understand the play-pattern in the optimal sense: float a lot of mana, play upheaval, tempo out a land and a creature or something. With infinite it wins the game on the spot in many cases, but that's really not the issue: plenty of cards do this kind of thing.

The trouble with Upheaval is that its actual use-case, how people will actually play it, is ten times worse than armageddon. MLD when you're far ahead on board is a great closer, and MLD isn't usually something that a player who is behind on board will do. People will spite Upheaval at every fucking chance, and there's a much smaller handful of cards that blow Upheaval out. For example, there's a zillion Boros-charm effects that uno-reverse MLD, but you have to be a member of the March of Swirling Mist (or similar) gang to deal with Upheaval, which are less-common even if they shouldn't be. In most of its applications, unbanning Upheaval will mean that on turn six, some spiteful retard will just reset the game and make it drag on for another hour - and let's not ignore that this card doesn't exile itself on cast.

I know someone who built an Umbris deck he likes to break out against tryhards...
