I've seen some other clearly musical nerds post mashups here, and I have (positively) rated accordingly. Here's another super nerdy musical mashup. (And not even because both songs have the word "opera" in the title)...

The chick who played "Blind Mag" in Repo: The Genetic Opera is the same woman who was the original "Christine" in Phantom of the Opera decades ago. This was the only video I found that sounded halfway decent mixed with her later musical. Weirdly enough, a lot of the Phantom lyrics in this video are... wrong. I've heard this video predated the official play. Hence why the phantom looks and sounds so stupid.
 
Amon Amarth's Twilight of the Thunder God meets California Gurls. It went a little too much towards California Gurls imo.
