For me in 2024 I'm starting off with this Internet map because I want us all to stay online and connected.

Then we've got this gold coin because I want us to have lots of purchasing power, but I know if I say I want lots of "money", then inflation will explode and I'll have lots of worthless fiat instead. Nice try, monkey paw.

A vision board is basically you putting pictures and quotes on a board that show what you want the year to look like. For example, if you want money, you would put a picture of $100 dollar bills or something. If you want a new car, you would post a picture of your dream car. Etc.

Depending on who you ask, doing this will manifest your dreams into reality like magic. Others (myself) think it's just a fun excuse to make a real life Pinterest board that you can hang on your wall and look at it to remind you to stay on top of your goals for the year.

Lol okay, I'm currently binge watching Fish Tank and sperging about it on the kf live thread at the moment, but once there's some down time I'll try to make something. Vision boards get made fun of (and tbh some of it is very much deserved) but they're fun to make and can be a helpful tool to reach your goals.

It's for realsies. Even if you don't think it will actually affect anything, it can be fun.

Do I think that me posting these images will make my plants be less etiolated? No.
But maybe putting these pictures here will remind me to be more conscious of lighting so when I check back in a year I can hold myself accountable.
 
I don't believe in the universe magically providing what you ask for, but I definitely do believe in subconsciously priming yourself for success. Like the opposite of self sabotage, if you truly from the bottom of your heart believe that good things will happen, they might not fall into your lap at an objectively higher rate but you'll be more likely to recognise them when they do. More recognised good things leads to more seized opportunities, more overcome problems, and more general happiness. With that in mind:

I have to double what @NoReturn said and hopes and prayer that the site stays online. Hate who we're up against and hate that I might lose some of you.​
I hate how listless I have become so purpose is certainly a good word to wrap up as a solution but I want to focus more on the feeling that I desire a place in this world.​

I've already stated on this one and have found some happiness but I want to look for acts of kinds that I can do for other that help me see past myself. Most of my troubles are not helped by me feeling sorry for myself.​
I am at 73% watched on my movie collections. I have too many but there are some gems I need to watch. My reading backlog is equally as backup but one thing at a time, please.​

It has been too long since I've been to the beach. Of course that includes all the fitness goals of being beach body ready. I want to focus more on being physical and less on what I eat.
 
i'm over here pregnant and really sleepy so i'm crying writing out my goals and putting together these cute pictures :')

i want to:

go outside more (take a picnic! i've never been on a picnic!)
take better care of my looks
read at least a couple books
work on hobbies
get good at gardening
drink more good coffee
take more naps
have more babies
have a nice time :)
