Make YouTube your bitch! - How to actually "Don't reccomend me this channel"

Another good way is to get uBlock (though why you'd be using YouTube without it baffles me), and while It might take several clicks, you can easily get rid of the recommended videos sidebar and the tiles of similar videos at the end of the video by just using the eyedropper icon and picking which elements of a page you want gone.

I started doing that when I kept seeing those retarded "Kids Channels" and Fox News livestreams on every video I wanted to watch and never looked back.

The brave browser rocks. If you watch movies on a website like putlockers or something you can put the video in a pop up window and use your other apps.

I can't take anyone seriously imagining them hunched over their gaming desktop in the living room sitting on their PewDiePie gaming chair typing a reply to me.
I love brave. I only use other web browsers when I have no other choice.

For phones i use Brave to watch YouTube, it blocks the ads, and let's you listen to the video with the app minimized, or even with the screen locked.

The only bad thing is being unable to watch 60fps videos.

NewPipe is great for YouTube on mobile.
If you're on Android and not using YouTube Vanced, you're wrong. Ad blocking, background play, screen off play, even a beta feature that auto skips the sponsor shilling in videos that seems to work all right.

I just wish they had a version of it that worked well on Android TV.

For Android TV there's SmartTubeNext. You can even pair STN with Vanced so that you can Chromecast videos fully ad-free.

I don't use YouTube Vanced over NewPipe because it begins to bitch at me after a while until I reinstall, more so than NewPipe at least
