The whimsy of Malfoid warms my heart, making troons seethe is a bonus. To the people like
Bone Chair Reviews or those like him making this lewd are disgusting faggots
(why couldn't he have finished that third beer?). Also Malfoid would have made the books & overall story better if executed well. I think Malfoy is based off of one of JKR's bullies in school who was a girl, if I'm remembering an interview correctly.
So technically, Malfoid is just fixing Joanne's mistake of initially R63'ing her school bully.
I've only seen the first Harry Potter movie and the one with Doctor Who so I have to assume that Luna Lovegood's father being Alex Jones is canon.
Sorta. Almost? Going from memory (gave my books away to younger relatives), he's the author of
The Quibbler which is like a very low viewership wizard tabloid that writes about obscure magical stuff other people even in their world consider loony or not real things. So using artistic license & hyperbole for such a thing & Mr. Lovegood is absolutely ace. His depiction in the books and movies leaves much to be desired. The same can be said of Luna Lovegood. I support her father going near full Alex Jones but for wizards or pointing out uncomfortable truths in the Muggle world. It amuses me.
Were the evangelicals also assmad over the existence of halloween? A fun book series for children with all sorts of wonder and whimsy at a magical school doesn't seem too far detached from spooky month in general and people love spooky month. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot by being a legion of joyless cunts.
Evangelicals have always been silly cunts. You can be a Christian or Christoid but a normal person. You don't need to be shouting about Jesus every second of every day. They're try hards of religion and 99% of their pastors are bilking them for every cent they have, typically. It's a sad state of affairs, like Scientology but with Jesus Christ.
Anyway, it Malfoid would be better for the story because JK didn't really write Slytherin very well, they're not well fleshed out. Basically, the way things are painted it's like everyone in Slyherin is evil with some rare exceptions like Professor Slughorn or R.A.B.
I always thought that was so fucking lazy. The movie part where McGonagall sends all the Slyherin students into the dungeons is true of the book as well. Just not really well fleshed out on JK's part.
The Chronicles of Narnia blows HP out of the water but that's just speaking peripherally.
There is an AI generated Malfoid VN on itch.io called Pureblood & Prejudice (no eroge/lewding scenes) that was banged out in 72 hours last week? 2 chapters/"Years" and obviously characters are there who are meant to have routes but are not implemented yet. I'm not a big fan of VNs but this did amuse me even with how rough around the edges it is at present (presentation is alright, dialogue & story is decent until "Year 2", lack of routes & choices is more what I mean; music is servicable nothing to write home about). It has mini-games, too. They're pretty easy.
It's kinda like a beta at the moment. Lots of routes and decisions always lead back to Malfoid ATM, so the meme of "player choice???" but just unimplemented stuff (failing the competition has no ramifications it would appear). I think if another group of people were so inclined they might be able to do a better job versus using 100% AI for the entire thing. Since it is in-progress it isn't a 12-20 hour affair like Steins;Gate or Higurashi... Probably takes 2 hrs tops to finish (the voice lines are what consume a lot of the time, they're AI and they're... servicable?). VNs aren't really my thing, might be more fun to go malfoidposting. Conceptually however, it shows a Malfoid VN could work if executed properly. Where the author who is heavily using AI for everything ends up doing eventually, I'm not qute sure.
Overall, I'm glad people online are trying to have wholesome and/or chudsome fun for once with a meme but given enough time I'm sure some group(s) will come to try and ruin things. I curse my lack of artistic talent with a pencil at a unique time like this in addition to my lack of free time. I believe Noncesky is already trying to ban people or block Malfoid-posting due to complaints which is just...
I'm also amused because this is could be a temporary antidote to the state of modern literature & fiction. We'll see. Until then, sit back and enjoy the Malfoid Posting. If it isn't your thing, then okay fine, whatever. I'm reminded of the whole Amelia phenomeon where the UK Home Office and their stupid "Pathways" thought-crime game unintentionally created a meme that was good fun for a month or two. Good times.
