“Oh goody, there’s a new app sweeping the nation that removes our makeup for us,” SAID NO ONE EVER. The existence of this unwelcome service, called MakeApp, is thanks to a 28-year-old Brooklyn-based entrepreneur named Ashot Gabrelyanov. It uses artificial intelligence (shouldn’t this type of tech be saved for IDK, legit causes?!) to remove any and all traces of makeup from one’s photo. You get five free images to bosh, after which the app will cost you $1.

Please join me in some not-so-silent outrage.

Apparently its use in helping to identify potential victims of human trafficking doesn't outweigh the crushing of feminist egos.

Actually this level of selfishness really reminds me of this one time a feminist writer complained about a conceptual form of birth control that would allow men to regulate their fertility with the flick of a switch and how it was sexist because it would prevent women from “choosing the best possible father” for their unborn child.

This isn't the first of its kind and it won't be the last.

Women don't do that anyways. Ever. Not sense easy peasy chemical birth control was invented back in the 50s. They just whore around.

EDIT: That Taytay pic spells out the real reason women hate this shit. Becomes some girls are actually good looking anyways.

To paraphrase Chris Rock, if he does not want to put a baby in you, he is NOT your potential husband.

And I can photoshop a dick into your mouth without your consent too. What's your point?

I like how, despite the fact that it may be able to save girls who have been sold into sex slavery, the main point here is that it is LITERALLY rape if I use it on some random bitch's selfie.

Why stop there. An App, that will transform you to any other ethnicity (right down to the fitting clothes and stereotypical music in the background).

I would call it the "cultural APPropriator".

On a more serious note:
When you think about it, this App does more for the self-esteem of the average woman or girl than any Blog written by a dangerhair ever could.
It literally shows you that all these supposed goddesses celebrated by the media are, once you remove the Make Up, just regular people underneath layers upon layers of fakeness.

We can use that to make Beyonce the color she's supposed to be. We all know you wuz dark skin bitch. We all know.

If you search for that on twitter you get this

But if you search for literally anything else you can see what you looked for.
Here's a great idea for a troubled social network threatened to fall into obscurity and being abondoned by vast swathes of netizens:

Ban certain unwanted online trends, no matter how benign or harmless, forcing your userbase to seek out alternative social networks that do not act like auistic spoilsports.

If only, if only this app would discourage young women from wasting their effort and energy on taking/shopping/posting endless vapid, moronic selfies and videos on instagrim and twatter and snotchat and the rest of these trash timesinks. That would free up time and effort for young women to get fucking educated and earn money rather than sitting in some vast virtual whorehouse begging for male attention.

Get a fucking job and go to fucking school, ladies. Smarten up your fucking act.

The salt, the salt, it gets into every crack!

New York Magazine:

"laughable and problematic"

Which is it, laughable or problematic? Pick one.

Slate (yeah I know, low hanging fruit):

"This isn’t the first time men have run into trouble sharing their opinions about makeup with the world"

Pray tell us, in what specific sense has Gabrelyanov run into trouble? Oh wait, I remember. You live on Planet Twitter, where a man is instantly disproven and totally destroyed when a woman throws some huffy snark in this general direction. Yeah, I've been there. I once lost an argument about Austrian constitutional history to a GIF of Beyonce eating salad. :powerlevel:
