There are people that will cheer this as standing up to bullies when it's merely some snowflake who got mad because children threw pencils at him for being gay. The truth is that we don't really know the other side of things. Maybe Abel Cedano was a complete bastard and being 15 his classmate resorted to below the belt insults and childish pencil throwing to get back at him. Maybe they were just having a bit of fun and really didn't hate him. Either way stabbing the boy to death over feelings is way too far and Cedano doesn't deserve a get out of jail free card for murdering someone over it.

So it seems several people are confusing a key point; the VICTIMS were 15 years old. The murderer is 18 years old. This is not a younger kid getting bullied by older classmates, this is a grown ass man still in fucking freshman level classes. His response to getting pencils thrown at him (which could just as easily have been because he's a loser who was at least three grades behind what he was supposed to be), was to pull out a knife and stab a kid four years his junior.
