Mandatory driving tests after the age of 70

We have the lamest possible version of that in the UK wherein you have to reapply for your licence at 70 and then every 5 years, I think. You can still drive if you're mentally competent to fill in an online form but not competent/responsible enough to tell the DVLA that you've got a medical condition that prevents you driving.
The thing that made it work was that you’d know your doctor. You’d have had the same family GP for ages and they’d have a good idea of when you’re not capable any more. Some people are fine driving to a ripe old age others are not. A lot are not.
Now that’s all gone. I think a medical every two years past 70 is reasonable. Need to test eyesight and general cognitive function

some people really get a stick up their ass about having to be tested over 80 (as is the case in Canada) but seriously, that's when cognitive decline, if it's going to show up, that's when. I'd want to make sure my driving skills are up to snuff in my old age ffs. People's reaction times slow down significantly in old age; hence why old people drive like little old ladies.

But mostly those who object are people who probably shouldn't be driving in the first place and they're just narcissists or whatever that are in denial.

Worst drivers are in AZ because the boomers there made it so your License lasts forever like to 65 then they have to take test's every 5 years. (Doesn't help) Been awhile since I lived there but I was shocked when I saw I didn't have to renew until like 2067 or something.

You've apparently never been to Pennsylvania.. faggots set most of their speed limits at 55 but they are to retarded to even go that fast. TPD
