Manual Car Master Race thread

Manual is the best. That feel of hearing the engine throttling and waiting for the right time to shift gears while in the highway is great. (It kinda sucks if you are stuck in traffic and have to be on 1st and 2nd for like forever.

Can't get a manual on my V12 Aston. But it's a cruiser than doesn't suit a stick. My S2k would be shit with an auto...different transmissions for different purposes

Opinion discarded.

I'm now going to go drive my big gas-guzzling American made automatic transmission F350 to spite you manual hipster niggers.
A person priding himself on not driving automatic should not be met with derision, but pity. Explaining the enjoyment of driving a manual to such a person is like an eagle explaining to a chicken how it is to soar through a sky. If we use a gaming analogy, driving an automatic is like playing a shooter with aim assist, you don't control the car, and the more modern that car is, the less you actually own it as well.

I don't get how Americans make such a big deal out of "learning to drive stick". It's the easiest shit ever as soon as you learn to be soft on the clutch.
Took me a week while I was in Europe to learn and I do not want to go back to automatic. Back in the states and still rocking a manual. New car to. I try and encourage people to try and learn manual.

We're retarded. I know I was, but after I finally learned and felt comfortable with it, it was great and and great anti-theft device. I love the control. I will get some niggerrates for this but I am sort of looking for a mid to late 90s F250 manual.

It really is. When I was living in the great PNW city my roommate had a car that was the same to mine, had his car stolen twice and broken into a third time in a span of a couple months. However my car was never stolen or broken into once. Difference is mine is a manual. When I drove him to get his car from the impound I ask the lady there if she ever sees manuals in and she said no. She also said she gets dozens of stolen cars impounded a month.

Controversial opinion: you should be disallowed from driving an auto until you have passed a manual transmission test under local ordinance. This would reduce the large number of retards who essentially never graduated beyond 'go-kart go brrrrrrr' driving mentality.
I would go further and say that a prerequisite for having a licence to drive a car should be that you have held a motorcycle licence for two full years prior and can demonstrate competency on two wheels. Weed out all the retards and inattentive dumbfucks.
A car license should be much, much more difficult to obtain than it currently is.

On topic, I have multiple vehicles. My truck is manual but the rest are auto, which frankly is much better for driving in city traffic.

I've got one of those old SRT4 Neons (sorry, having issues uploading photo) getting covered in dust in the shop. I get to drive it once or twice a month. It's too damn small. Plus, I must be getting old because it rides too rough. I remember growing up in the 90s the orginal Neon was advertised as a family car. Like what nigger? Were people smaller (not skinny smaller, height smaller)? My kids are young still and they barley fit back there.

Hell yes.

Riding a motorcycle made me a better car driver. It's funny how quickly one can develop situational awareness when one realises they are invisible to other road users and are the crumple zone if things go pear-shaped.

Back on topic, this is what people who can't drive manuals look like (NSFW language):

Should I get a manual m2 or the newer automatic awd m240i? The older m2s look kino but I live in a area that snows (not a lot but it still snows)
