I suspect that it's because they aren't actually "non offending" and are desperately looking for publicsupport for when they are outed as kiddie diddlers.

That's why society needs a way for the common person to contribute to large scale decisions. And I don't mean voting.
Start putting wagers on pedophiles using blockchain technology. Then you'll get results.
I see a lot of people complaining about problems and no one actually taking the practical steps to fix anything. With that considered, maybe society doesn't deserve better. It is your fault after all. If you choose to do nothing, when there are clear answers right in front of you

The MAP flag inspired me to make a flag for pedophobia - to put it simply, if pedophilia is an irrational lust towards children, pedophobia would be an irrational fear, or hatred of children.

Dark Red - Violence towards children - This can be any form of violence, ranging from small acts like spilling juice onto a child to make them cry, to extreme acts like physically assaulting a child or group of children, or even murder (such as a school shooting for instance)
Red - Prejudice / Hatred towards children - People who hate children will either avoid areas where children are more present (like a playground, or schoolyard); it can also manifest as self-hatred, if the person who is pedophobic is also a child themselves.
White - The belief adults, or the elderly are superior to children - People will associate with older people more often, and will even avoid adults who have children of their own; whether the children are biologically related, or adopted.
Yellow - Disdain of children - This can come from traumatic experiences in a subject's life, such as bullying/harassment in school property by other children of their age; higher or lower, or from physical, mental or sexual abuse as a child from a parent, guardian, teacher, etc.
Dark Yellow - Fear of children - People who have anxiety attacks when the presence of children is mentioned in any way, shape or form. This can also come from traumatic experiences as a child.

Sadly I can believe it. Not even because Current Year is demon/clown world (though that helps). But because humanity has a terrible dark side and this is exactly the way you'd expect technology to amplify it. I'm remembering a couple of girls in my school when I was about 12 years old. They came from the typical broken homes- multiple divorces and step dad/step mom rematches, latchkey, parents had alcohol or drug issues and constant petty drama, no money. And they would go to the military base near our school and pick up young soldiers- this was their big bragging right, being able to pull that off. One of them had two kids before we got out of high school.
Obviously the soldiers were fucked up and horribly wrong to take them up on the offers but they weren't hanging around the schoolyard. It was the other way around.
