I'm sorry you aren't happy with your current situation. I really do think that working your way back into a small group of friends would help the most with that bit. You might say that they didn't provide anything, but healthy social interaction is basic need. Obviously not on the same level as sleeping/eating, but close.

So even before examining why you aren't building a relationship in a romantic sense, you should be thinking about building just regular relationships with guys.
Don't undervalue friends. Trying for a relationship before even having friends is going about it backwards, and the longer you go without them the harder you are making it for yourself to make human connections on any level.
