In the context of using condoms during sex, telling your sexual partner that it'll feel strange is synonymous with telling them it is something you're uncomfortable with, that's just the way it's interpreted in civilised society, if its NOT something you're uncomfortable with then the issue would never be raised in the first place. Unless of course you can claim that you said something like "it'll feel strange to do it with condoms but it's still fine with me" in which case I'll retract what I said.
